Gratefulness
Life was following its own sacred rhythm, when, suddenly, an accident interrupted the flow, changing everything, perhaps never to return to the accustomed way.
Living in the now in the face of uncertainty, living each day fully, one at a time, letting go of plans, disappointing others, yet still grateful it did not happen under worse circumstances in unfamiliar surroundings.
A reminder of transience, not to get attached to what has been comfortable or even familiarly uncomfortable.
