Mary Pat7 months agoMary PatI have been writing a Gardening Tips article during the season for a Colorado Master Gardener with CSU Extension letter that goes out once a week, and this past season, because of surgeries, I have had to get some help. One of the women that helped out is a real gem. Joanne is always on time with her articles, and does her research. I don't have to correct a thing! She has been a real help this past season, and she is willing to continue to help next year. However, I am blessed with so-called “hidden gems” whom have been in my life for many years and counting. 8 Reply Dusty Su7 months agoDusty SuExactly, I am in Melbourne, world’s longest lockdown. I manage through programs I create online, through emails, messages, etc. But it is NOT the same as in real life. And as with you, so many incredible people in my life throughout the years. Some are still alive, and we remain very close. I am blessed. It’s enough. 7 Reply Christine7 months agoChristineYesterday there was a celebration of the 100th anniversary of Sufism in a town nearby. I was asked to let a young student from Iran ride with me. She was invited to play an Iranian musical instrument, the "Santur". It turned out that she only lives 1 minute away from me. We had to drive an hour to the other city. The hour flew by. Our conversation was so beautiful and intense. She made impressively beautiful music on her santur during the celebration.
