Everyone should have their own rhythm. 4 Reply Jenny5 months agoJennyI have never danced to the beat of my own drum, my whole life I have always let everyone else lead my life and most of that happened intentionally. I let them take the lead due to fear of offending them or hurting them. That left me with no sense of self or who I am or who I wanna be and that was a huge struggle. Things have changed for the better and I’m learning to use my voice and dance to my own beat for once. 4 Reply ADP5 months agoADPRight now I am not feeling that anyone is dancing to the beat of my drum. Which I am realizing is ok sometimes you have to dance to your on beat and it may be all alone. You have to find like-minded people to dance to the beat of your drum. Sometimes your energy is different from everyone else and you don’t have anyone dancing to the beat of your drum. 2 Reply devy5 months agodevyI lead my own beat or rhythm. Others have their own percussion instruments and if they wish to join in ( as some have) they are welcome.. 5 Reply Mary Pat5 months agoMary PatI do. I think we all need to find our own rhythm, our own beat…. 3 Reply Don Jones5 months agoDon JonesMy Kelpie dog. Oh wait… I gotta go, I think I hear her outside… 5 Reply Mica5 months agoMicaA drum circle – fun! 2 Reply Mica5 months agoMicaWhat? I want them to dance to the beats or their own drums! 3 Reply John5 months agoJohnI follow the rhythm of life as it presents itself. Often in others around me. So I guess I dance to the soulful beat of the universe, which then includes everyone and everything all the time.( if I chose to be conscious of it). 3 Reply Holly in Ohio5 months agoHolly in Ohiome. My loved ones have their own drums. I wouldn’t have it any other way. 😊 3 Reply sunnypatti5 months agosunnypattiMe! I dance to the beat of my drum, and anyone who wants to join in is welcome! I love dancing, and we have mini dance parties at our house all the time 🙂 4 Reply Charlie T5 months agoCharlie TI like to drum and I like to dance. Not sure who’s dancing with me though. I’m trying to not be too concerned with who’s dancing with me and concentrate more on my own rhythm and keeping the beat going. 9 Reply Laura5 months agoLauraI took the question to mean, am I imposing my drumbeat on others? The answer is no. I have noticed, though, that my grown-up kids will adjust their beats out of kindness and respect when I visit them. 5 Reply Yram5 months agoYramI had the same thought. Thanks for putting it in print. 3 Reply Holly in Ohio5 months agoHolly in OhioI think kindness and respect was part of your drumbeat, was it not? You’ve done well that they’ve picked up on that. 🙂 3 Reply Laura5 months agoLauraThank you, HIO and Yram! 2 Reply Lee Anne5 months agoLee AnneI dance to the beat of my drum, which is my heart. And when ‘my body, speech, and mind are in perfect oneness’ (a courageous endeavor in which I fail too often), others are able to join my dance. 🌷💜🌸 4 Reply joGary5 months agojoGaryI am extremely grateful that I have a husband who encourages me to play my drum, dances to it and gives me loving honest feedback when my beat is off. 5 Reply EJP5 months agoEJPOnly I dance to the beat of my own drum…no others can hear it, feel it or experience it. 5 Reply Kevin5 months agoKevinI do. Otherwise, why have a drum? 4 Reply Pilgrim5 months agoPilgrimIndeed! 3 Reply Michele5 months agoMicheleI haven’t met her yet. 4 Reply Mica5 months agoMicaWarm wishes to you, Michele (((heart))) – new laptop not so full of emojis.. :-/ 2 Reply Ose5 months agoOseSuch a musical question! When kindred people asked to be helped for insight about some of their questions to life, using the drum I once had the pleasure and honor to make by myself was the bridge for them to find out about own inner replies to their inquiry. According to their reply, this has been a gift to them given by spirit and of support. I am happy and grateful to have been able to be of support to them finding inner answers to their situation at hand. 7 Reply Mica5 months agoMicaThat’s wonderful, Ose (((((heart))))) 3 Reply 1 2 Next » My Private Gratitude Journal Write an entry in your private gratefulness journal Get Started This site is brought to you by A Network for Grateful Living, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
