No “who” springs to mind at the moment 2 Reply Hot Sauce2 months agoHot SauceI want to learn more about people who have undergone really painful trauma at the hands of others and still have managed to forgive. People like the victims of the police state in El Salvador or the schoolhouse shooting in the Amish community are so inspiring to me! 4 Reply Ose2 months agoOseSorry, I am standing in my own way tonight and need to sleep 😴., may be I will be able to answer this tomorrow. A real shift in abilities and possibilities. I have undertaken close to 50 online courses, workshops, certifications in the past decade or so. Some range from two weeks to half a year. A large part of what I study is things that I can translate into the service of others who are underprivileged or marginalized. I incorporate my learnings into real-life skills to meet needs and make a difference. I still can’t spell to save my life, but I can teach professional medical staff and family members how to hold space by companioning a person who is dying. I want to keep learning in such a manner and in that space of learning, learn about those who have lived experiences of what is being taught and the populations they serve. I just don’t get it. 5 Reply Mica2 months agoMicaThe Daughters of Yalta: The Churchills, Roosevelts, and Harrimans: A Story of Love and War 3 Reply Zenith2 months agoZenithMyself mostly. A couple YouTube stars. The universe. 6 Reply Patricia2 months agoPatriciaOne response is “myself” – the mysteries of the personality and spirit and how God’s Spirit resides within me. Another response (right now) is more about Native American spirituality, particularly (again, right now) the Navajo and seeking harmony with the path of what is in nature and around me. There are so many individuals/artists/regular folks whose lives and ways of being intrigue me… and I find myself wanting to know more about them and what they have to teach me. 7 Reply Ed Schulte2 months agoEd SchulteTo expand the follow intent with more power of the Holy Spirit accompanying it. [ so more of “what” then “Who”]. This intent is part of an exercise I do every Sunday morning. Intension: “In your heart there burns a fire, an everlasting fire of love, kindness and compassion. Light the candle with this fire from your heart.” 7 Reply GCharlotte2 months agoGCharlotteI want to learn more about the newly elected. 6 Reply Trish2 months agoTrishYes, me too! So much to learn… 2 Reply Trish2 months agoTrishI want to learn more about a young woman who has invited me into her home in the hope that we can team together to create change. What makes her tick? What skills has she used to get this far? Where does she find joy? I look forward to this journey with her. 7 Reply sunnypatti2 months agosunnypattiEveryone! Charlotte Brontë is right life should not be wasted on nursing animosities or registering wrongs! This is a mind that wants to retaliate and that wrong thinking- wrong thinking gets us into all kinds of trouble. Meditation helps us see what our minds are getting up which helps us to make clear choices based on wisdom rather than reaction. 8 Reply Howie Geib2 months agoHowie GeibThe art of storytelling. Story can be the backdoor to the person. Through which we allow suggestion and the triggering of our imagination, ultimately stimulating the connection between the soul and our conscious being. Our souls are waiting, patiently, to take our hand and walk with us through our fears. Stories can provide the means to courage. Courage for what? Many things. Confronting our dark basement. Letting light in. Making room by relinquishing the burdens we have so meticulously collect...The art of storytelling. Story can be the backdoor to the person. That is how I feel I can serve the world. Read More3 Reply Michele2 months agoMicheleLove this, brings back memories when my kids were little. I always would take them to the library and read them books, however, I have this one glass picture frame of a scary mansion house (after research found out it is The Ingomar Club). I would make up stories about Dracula, ghosts, dragons, etc living there, lol. They loved it. I still have this glass picture in my curio cabinet with my castles and witches. If I ever go to Eureka, Ca I would love to see it in person:) 3 Reply My Private Gratitude Journal Write an entry in your private gratefulness journal Get Started This site is brought to you by A Network for Grateful Living, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
