Mike1 year agoMikeI would choose to be centered within myself, instead of merely self-centered. 0 Reply SK1 year agoSKThis day I would choose to be one of the “helpers” that someone would look for in their day. I choose to be the daughter of Dave and Gladys, determined, honest, ethical, on time, thinking ahead. When people say “I choose to be me” just exactly who is that? what part of you is it? How do we define ourselves? we all have perceptions of who we think we are but when others look at us- who do they see? What do they feel from us? 4 Reply Gregoire1 year agoGregoireI choose to be the person that God created me to be. To set aside my own desires and care for others first 5 Reply Malag1 year agoMalagThis question is a useful reminder that I have created many stories of myself all believable within each story. In more recent years there’s been a shedding of these, a dropping away. It’s not that I choose to be anything it’s just that the stories don’t spin as much although they do still spin. That’s not something I can force, a deliberate choosing; it is, rather, an emergence. 4 Reply Ose1 year agoOseThe most kind I can be; clear minded also; giving what I am able to; humble and grateful in His light and love. All work in progress. Have a lovely day you all out there. 3 Reply Sarah M1 year agoSarah MAt this very moment in time, I choose to be ME! 4 Reply hellokasi1 year agohellokasiSomeone who is sober, informed, powerful, and peaceful. 8 Reply Melissa1 year agoMelissaToday I choose to embrace nature which always makes me feel the best that I am. 6 Reply shazia1 year agoshaziaI agree with you nature is the best place to be. 3 Reply Mica1 year agoMicaMy resilience class talks about how our identity affects our resilience – or lack of resilience. How negative stereotypes hurt our resilience, for example. One of the students recommended ‘Whistling Vivaldi’ and I’ve just downloaded the sample from Amazon Kindle. I’m working on losing my needy childlike identity. 6 Reply Don Jones1 year agoDon JonesIf all I want is to see Who I really, really am, nothing can stop me from doing so this very moment. But if my plan is to use that blessed vision to buy baskets full of nice feelings or any other goodies, I might as well abandon the very idea of Self-enquiry. I won’t be abandoning my inquiry. 4 Reply Cathie1 year agoCathieWho I am. Trying for the best version of myself – my true self, my authentic self. 4 Reply Anna1 year agoAnnaA kind of melancholy I choose to let it enter my soul. Now that’s the way . I offer my vulnerability at the foot of the Cross, as some of you answered after a past question. It could be worse, as Don Jones said Tuesday and as Debra said, I choose to let faith do its job. 5 Reply Linda1 year agoLindaI choose to be my peaceful self. 6 Reply Lauryn1 year agoLaurynA happy person. 6 Reply Milissa1 year agoMilissaI choose to be grateful 4 Reply Javier Visionquest1 year agoJavier VisionquestSober 8 Reply Javier Visionquest1 year agoJavier VisionquestLiving through doubt and regularly kicking the sh*t out of myself has no place in a practice of radical soul-saving love. Thirty-six years of alcoholic self-abuse ends today. 6 Reply AwesomelyHolly1 year agoAwesomelyHollyToday I choose to be open to my full heart. 5 Reply Butterfly1 year agoButterflyI choose to be the person I have become.
