Scientists working on a vaccine for COVID, health care workers, farmers, truckers, public safety, and others similar. These people are working to keep me healthy and safe, fed and nourished. People I don’t even know. 0 Reply Malag3 months agoMalagThe people who kept the coffee shop open enabling me to have a semblance of normality, have a coffee, sit out and chat. 3 Reply Dusty Su3 months agoDusty SuThe birds who live in or visit the big trees outside my attic window. Plonked in suburbia in a strange city during lockdown in strict isolation they are my connection to God and the fact that life goes on. 6 Reply Sunflower3 months agoSunflowerI am so grateful for being able to be with a group of very kind people, and all the group and especially our leader during this intense experience which we are allowed to undergo deserve my deep thanks right now. All these kindred souls who are joining this retreat as well as all the many people who provide the many things to make it happen are so very kind and helpful. And then there are the ones who prepared the location; the ones who grew the plants for having the gift of eating vegetarian food and the ones who offer the delicious food for us and the ones who prepare it carefully. The ones who clean the place so that we may feel fully comfortable; and the ones who find joy in offering beauty. It requires so many hands and hearts to make it happen in the wholehearted and loving way it is done. All these and most probably many more kindred hearts who offer so generous of themselves to just make this happen for us deserve my gratitude and big thanks. For example, I don’t think my Guriji “needs” my thanks, in fact I am sure of that. My deepest thanks to him are expressed by bringing the seeds he planted within me to full bloom. Perhaps its the same for those around me. The deep expression of my thanks comes from who I am and what I do. 5 Reply Linda3 months agoLindaAll of the firefighters who continue to fight gargantuan blazes in California and the Pacific Northwest. I love being able to share every day with him – just experiencing life through this quarantine. After 10+ years In a toxic lonely relationship, I finally managed to get out, and moved across the country in search of new life experiences. I am thankful to myself for having the courage and drive to make this happen and I am thankful to my partner for opening his heart to me. 7 Reply Etta3 months agoEttaMy family for helping me stay positive. 3 Reply Zenith3 months agoZenithMyself and you people. I wouldn’t have been able to move into a leadership position at work without God’s help, either. I have always believed in a Power bigger than myself, but when I really let go and trusted in God, my life blossomed like a lotus. But also I give my whole-hearted thanks to one of my brothers who has taken on lots of additional work and responsibility for our extended family. 4 Reply Javier Visionquest3 months agoJavier VisionquestA remote native grandmother who’s name I never knew, who’s face I’ve never seen, for the invitation to become a different person than I was raised to be, a stronger and more compassionate person than ever hoped for. Through her gift, passed over generations and directly to me alone, we shall meet someday. 6 Reply Trish3 months agoTrishMy sweetheart deserves my thanks. He’s very generous w/ his time & his love. He has a quick wit, an adventurous spirit & beautiful soul. He clearly adores me & I carry that w/ me everyday. He makes a mean curry & even cleans up afterward. Dang…..I thank him & my lucky stars⭐️ 7 Reply Kevin3 months agoKevinFirst, let me begin by saying “thank you” to the good folks on the Gratefulness Team who keep this valuable resource going day after day and year after year. I think that I am up to date in the “expressing my thankfulness” to others department. However, today’s question will come along as I begin my day and I’m betting I will have a name or two by lunchtime. So, thank you, again! 6 Reply devy3 months agodevyM’y wife who is still working at home through this pandemic and is having long stressful days.
