I would like to thank my mom for helping with my kids while I am at work. I am thankful for the support and love she gives me.

My wife of over forty years. Claudia is a throughly kind and generous person, who loves me in the most practical of all ways. She embodies the notion that love itself is a practice.

Today I thank my father, who always takes such good care of my dog when I am at work or not able to take him out due to my obligations.

I do thank my husband often for the kind things he does around our home. And I can thank my friends who continue to care about me, some for over 50 years!

I can thank my team. Without them and the support they give me I would not be able to do my job. They are my foundation!

I hope that expressing my thanks is one of my strengths. I express thanks regularly to my husband…for the big and “little” things (that are really not so little!). I thank my daughters regularly for being the incredible humans that they are and extending to me, their imperfect mom, their unconditional love and support.
Each day, when I begin my morning meditations…this is my prayer ritual:

“Thank you dearest Abba Father for this miracle of another day of life”
And then I say it in Spanish:
“Gracias Papito Dios por el milagro de un otra dia de la vida”

Thank you to everyone here for your generous and heartfelt responses. Coming here each morning and reading them is a treasured part of my daily meditations. You are, each one of you, a light that shines brightly each morning.

And thank you to my long-time friend Pilgrim for continuing on this journey with me.
    ~Blessings and peace….Om Shanti 🙏

      Dear Diane,
I am, as my mom used to say, “a day late and a dollar short,” so you may not see this. But I was (am) with you in spirit, despite dealing with a major distraction here.
Blessings and peace to you and yours, my friend.

Good morning Pilgrim…I circled back and here you are. I hope all is well…prayers for you as you navigate through whatever you are facing. Sending peace, sending light. 🙏

Every morning I drop Teagan off into the arms of loving educators. I am grateful for the comfort I get knowing she’s with them.

I already thanked my husband for bringing me a hot cup of coffee, as he does every morning in our routine. I can thank him again for his constant love and care. He has also prepared our car for a long trip I’m taking: tank topped off, tire pressure checked, oil levels fine, and he’ll check the road bike I’m taking with me.
I’m driving to events being held on the lands of the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe today and tomorrow. I can thank their leaders for hosting us, for their care of the land, and for being part of the effort to build the Olympic Discovery Trail across the Olympic Peninsula.
This trail is part of the Great American Rail Trail promoted by the Rails to Trails Conservancy, which is hosting these events. I can thank them for their vision of a trail across the entire continent and their tireless efforts to promote and protect trails to connect communities. I’ll be seeing them and many local trail advocates I can thank for their work as well.
I can thank everyone I interact with for their labors.
I can thank all of you for being here to share, and the creators of this site for making this space.

My day is filled with people interaction. I will be attentive to expressing thankfulness and use their name if I can.

Oh boy! Starting with my wife.
I will thank her for her calming affect
on me and her ability to bring joy
to our home. The other person is
my partner, Marty. I will thank him
for all the amazing and torturous
    organizing and communicating he
does every day, to keep our business
floating. Also, I would like to thank all
of you here. Your insight, honesty,
wisdom, and humor, is inspiring and
a much needed balm. This practice
is so helpful. Thank you 🙏

I thank God for the gift of another day…even though I am not worthy. God sure has patience!!
I thank everyone here for always making my morning bright…and giving me new ways to see things. God Bless.

From God to my parents and husband and siblings and friends and dogs to those I pass in the stores or on the beach, and then those who take the time and money to come into our restaurant. Thank you EVERYONE!

Whom can I not thank? My family for having faith in me when things were rough. I do not plan on going into town today but the clerks in the businesses that I frequent all deserve thanks. Pooch, the dog on the bridge over the ditch, gets thanks from me each day and she gives it back sevenfold in the joy of watching her antics through the day. All of the good folks who share here and the ones who keep it running. No matter where any one of us lives this day, we are all interdependent with many unseen people that provide in one way another for our collective well-being. All deserve some gratitude.

It’s early here… 0545… and I’m thanking myself. I looked at my chore list for today and crossed some items off after I realized they don’t really need to be done and I don’t really feel like doing them. I work in education and our summer break began last week. I need to take some time for rest and renewal.

WLS….as a now retired educator, I know full well that you deserve all the rest and renewal you want/need this summer. God bless you for the work that you do….be kind to yourself! ♥
