Hugging people you love is one of the nicest feelings and it makes me feel so comfortable and safe. I love hugs and can’t wait to be aloud. 0 Reply Tiffany1 year agoTiffanyMy parents, my in laws, my friends. To not be afraid to hug them, will be wonderful to overcome. I know I need hugs. My brain and heart have ached over this past year and longed for these moments soon to come. 0 Reply Mike1 year agoMikeI’m not much of a hugger. But I’m looking forward to not having to put six feet and a mask between myself and my wife’s sister’s family when we’re in their kitchen, doing dishes after a nicely hosted dinner. 2 Reply Hot Sauce1 year agoHot SauceI can’t wait to visit and hug my friends from college! I wasn’t able to go to Nebraska last year because of the pandemic, but I really hope I get a chance to do so this year. 4 Reply LeanIn1 year agoLeanInMy elderly parents and my best friend. I am quite shy and reserved and find it hard to hug/touch a lot of people (parents and husband excepted!) But I don’t have grandchildren and my answer might have been very different if I did have! 6 Reply Melissa1 year agoMelissaMy son, his wife, my grandchildren all my bothers and sister-in-laws and my nieces and nephews, the new babies in the family. What a wonderful way to start a ripple of blessing. True story about hugs starting ripples. My wife was in the hospital one day recovering from massive cancer surgery and just transferred to a chair when her surgeon walked in. She spontaneously stood up and gave him a hug before he told her to sit down due to the pain it caused her. After a brief medical update conversation, he left and after a few minutes the attending nurse walks in the room. She asked if Dr. W was her doctor and she said yes and asked, “why do you ask?” She said that she had worked with Dr. W for 25 years and that was the first time he EVER gave me a hug. I hope that starting over brings new hope. I will value whomever I get to hug, but I will be selective. Even thinking about getting back together with the people we sometimes BUG and they bug us — even that makes me happy! 5 Reply 1 2 Next » My Private Gratitude Journal Write an entry in your private gratefulness journal Get Started This site is brought to you by A Network for Grateful Living, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
