It feels so good to be able to feel it and to be forced to walk instead of having a car. As I work each evening on knitting a shawl, of the beauty of color, like the evening sunset. I am reminded each day of the miracle of the sun coming up even though the planet turns constantly without fail. It is all such a miracle. How it all works together to provide for our lives on the earth. It doesn’t have to. So I am grateful for it all. Gathered there by one dear to me. 3 Reply Kristi1 year agoKristiBeauty is everywhere when you look for it. I was just outside skiing through the trees. While looking at the trees I realized I could think of them two different ways. Dead and ugly or bare and beautiful. I chose the latter. The trees were bare, naked, imperfect, yet beautiful. Anything in life can be beautiful if you choose to look at it in that way! 7 Reply Mica1 year agoMicaThe sun having set, the beautiful bright clouds have turned into dark fluffy clouds against a dim blue sky. 6 Reply Drew Blanton1 year agoDrew BlantonIn my room. 3 Reply stanatwf1 year agostanatwfArtwork in this room inspires and draws me. 3 Reply Darren1 year agoDarrenA clean room. Its amazing how decluttering the space around me, declutters my thoughts 6 Reply Hot Sauce1 year agoHot SauceThe room I’m in right now is still a disaster from all the Christmas stocking stuffers. What a beautiful problem to have! 5 Reply Anna1 year agoAnnaYou make me smile, Hot Sauce, thank you, this is another beauty, right before going to bed! 3 Reply Don Jones1 year agoDon JonesMy morning meditation – grounding myself on the floor, the lit candle, Bella (my dog) settling down beside me as if to share that Divine energy, the gentle turning inward to the silence and stillness, the sometimes spontaneous welling up of tears, the timelessness, the Loving energy that cradles, the limitlessness… 8 Reply Melissa1 year agoMelissaWhen my husband puts his loving arms around me and says” we will make it through this together”. Even if I don’t know we will make it through this pandemic without getting sick no matter how careful we are. It is so comforting to me when he does this. It gives me courage to go through the day. 6 Reply Lauryn1 year agoLaurynI’m sitting outside on my porch as I do every day when I answer the daily question. Here in Northern California we’ve had a rainstorm the past few days and the air is smelling fresh. There are several trees in my view, I can hear a few birds in the distance, there’s lingering fog in the sky, and I can hear the world waking up— the distant hum of motors and cars on the distant highway. 7 Reply Mica1 year agoMicaYes! Rain! That feels like sort of a large beauty now. [Being indoors, I wasn’t smelling the wonderful fresh moist outdoor air.] 1 Reply Elaine1 year agoElaineHere am I still in bed sipping tea in a Dunoon mug called Piazza lovingly prepared by my beloved. Simple joys, small beauties. 7 Reply Howie Geib1 year agoHowie GeibThere is a steady breeze this morning, and, for here in South Florida it is a temperate 73F, so I have the windows and lanai doors open…there is a palm tree just outside my bedroom window, and so I am hearing the wind rattle the palm fronds as I am sitting here writing…along with some birds chirping…no lawn mowers or leaf blowers (yet)… 7 Reply Trish1 year agoTrishLanai…that’s a beautiful word🙂 1 Reply Michele1 year agoMicheleI’ve lived in Florida since 2008 and had never heard of that word before moving down here. Up north it’s just a porch. 1 Reply Cathie1 year agoCathieThe nature outside my window, and the scent of a mint bouquet brought indoors. 8 Reply Holly in Ohio1 year agoHolly in OhioThe Wolf Moon carried snow clouds. I pad downstairs in old slippers. The floors are coldish. The Wolf Moon brought a crispness to the air around. Crunching spoon in coffee jar Brings a welcome smell Kitty demands his breakfast! The kindness of my next door neighbor who clears my walk and driveway of yesterday’s snow. The daily appearance of an elderly man who takes a walk past my home every day–rain, snow, or shine, hot or bitter cold. He is an inspiration. 7 Reply Michele1 year agoMicheleI, too, have an elderly gentleman who walks past my house and around the neighborhood everyday:) 0 Reply Butterfly1 year agoButterflyMy hands. They have served me faithfully for over 70 years. A bit wrinkled now but still fully functioning, they enable me to type this message, smooth my dear little cat, get food to my mouth – oh so many things. How wonderous when you take the time to think about these things.
