Kevin4 months agoKevin“Be kind, for everyone is fighting a hard battle,” is a phrase I say to myself during rare moments when I might otherwise be too quick to tune-out and dismiss an encounter with another person. Fortunately, this seldom happens, but the phrase opens my ears and softens my heart every time I repeat it under my breath. (Attributed to numerous sources) 12 Reply Linda4 months agoLindaOne of my favorite sayings as well, Kevin. 2 Reply Hermann-Josef4 months agoHermann-JosefFeeling and seeing the tenderness in everything around me. But surely, I wil be tender toward those I encounter today. I love people 💛. 10 Reply Mica4 months agoMicaDear Christine – if you cook meat 🥩 longer, doesn’t it become more tender, until it falls apart? [I don’t know where that takes us!] Thank you for your reply 🤗😘 2 Reply Christine4 months agoChristineDear Mica, Here is a language difference. In Dutch we know the word “mals” by meat, and the word “teder” tender is only used when there is a soft, friendly, loving and gentle manner.🥰😘 3 Reply Mica4 months agoMicaThank you, Christine – mals and teder. But I think I’d like to become more soft, more friendly, more loving, and more gentle? 😊 4 Reply csalt4 months agocsaltEvery day I ask the Mother of God to help me to think act and judge as she did. Let all my work and rest be sanctified by thee. All my thinking and my feeling all my praying and my longing all my suffering and rejoicing all my loving and forgiving in thy hands I wish to lay oh Mother mine. In the holy wave of grace through thee so richly flowing let all immersed be. The world’s confusing shadows let Light and Love dispel. Let all whose minds are clouded, or lost in doubt or error, let all whose hearts are heavy, weighed down by grief or pain let all whose courage fails them, who know no peace or joy, let all men know thy healing, thy light, thy love, thy joy. ( found years ago on a prayer card in my Mother’s prayer book) I know ‘Thee’ and ‘Thou’ are not used any more but I like to keep the prayer as my Mother had it. Thank you for bringing up this dear memory! 🤗 2 Reply Ed Schulte4 months agoEd SchulteThank You VERY VERY much for sharing this csalt. I have copied it to my prayer file. I have copied it to my prayer file. As a member of the Essene Tradition Mother Mary is not forgotten, she is an ever present power in all the inner work we do. I would like to share with you this very “Tender” meditation exercise which I fell will compliment your mother’s gift …feel free to share it because Mary’s presence, wisdom and power is very much need to be applied in current times Take a few deep and conscious breaths and completely relax mentally, psychically, and physically. Now, you feel completely relaxed on all these levels. Breath deeply, Concentrate and feel everywhere in your chest. Feel your etheric heart. As a personality you had many different mothers in all your incarnations. But in reality, you had only one mother in all those lives. It is your Mother Mary. So, feel blessed. Continue to consciously breathe and feel your etheric heart. Mentally place your etheric hands on your heart centre. Visualise a six-pointed star there and touch it. Now you are holding a lily with six petals in your etheric hands. Smell its fragrance. Feel its vibrations. It speaks to you. It creates vibrations of Life and Love. It speaks of God’s wisdom. Listen and learn. Bring into your mind Virgin Mary. Long pause Witness the work of the Archangel Gabriel. The entire universe is in her and you are part of it. Long pause Mentally feel the smell of the lily spreading in the whole world. Wish that peace, love and understanding prevail across the globe … from heart to heart, from country to country. Breathe this sweet fragrance of Life and Love and keep it in you. Turn to Mother Mary and mentally say: All creation rejoices in Thee, O Thou who art full of grace, both in the assembly of the angels and the human race. Thou art a hallowed temple, and a spiritual paradise, the glory of virgins, whence God had taken flesh and became a little child, He Who is from Eternity our God. For He made thy womb His throne and formed thy body to be broader than the heavens. All creation rejoices in thee. O Thou who art full of grace, glory to Thee. Stay for a while with Her, and then concentrate fully in your material body again. END Read More3 Reply csalt4 months agocsaltThat is very beautiful Ed. I shall return often to read it very slowly. The pain that comes from deep love makes your love even more fruitful. It is like a plow that breaks the ground to allow the seed to take root and grow into a strong plant. Every time you experience the pain of rejection, absence, or death, you are faced with a choice. You can become bitter and decide not to love again, or you can stand straight in your pain and let the soil on which you stand become richer and more able to give life to new seeds. Henri J. M.
