It’s easy to say everyone should e peaceful but are we able to communicate and listen in a peaceful way ourselves ? So I would say that my vision must start within myself. Maybe it’s time to be more understanding and open to listening? No matter what a chance for peace means I have to remember to pause/ stop – look and go like brother David advices. We see a lot of people taking action out of a mind that is full of anger and or hate. Martin Luther King said that we can’t fight hate with more hate only love can help. Love is the way. I feel sorry for him and the mess he has to start with to make things better. Happy MLK Day everyone. 6 Reply Trish3 months agoTrishLove & respect for everyone is at the top of my list. I am responsible for calling out injustice: racism, sexism, degradation toward any group of people. It can be scary & exhausting because sometimes it feels like a full~time job. But, it’s my job. It’s all of ours….. 7 Reply Ed Schulte3 months agoEd SchulteWhat visions do you have for the world? How might you take steps to realize these visions? The I CHING say this so well “Plow your field for a field well-plowed, not for possible harvests. Clear the wasteland for land well-cleared, not for potential rich fields.” Such guileless enterprise can’t help but succeed. I can contribute by being there for others who are struggling, by understanding rather than being angry or disappointed. By respecting nature, taking steps to reduce damaging behaviours or actions towards her. Knowing that collectively we can conquer any challenges that get in our way and having HOPE that mankind will reach that point. 9 Reply Butterfly3 months agoButterflyThe vision I have for the world is one where kindness is at the forefront. I can see it slowly emerging. Although it will take many generations to become more evident than it is today. As a whole we are becoming more aware of our impact on each other, other living beings and the earth itself - our mother. Meanwhile earth herself is reacting to our abuse and that is something future generations will have to deal with. Nowadays everything seems to be centred about money and status and the “word of honour” word seems to have been a thing of the past. I do though wish the very best for future generations to come. Seems Like Only Yesterday that we could do that but its been at least two presidential Administrations.. I am I always willing to listen and ask people if they feel the way they do why they think other people might feel differently? The only thing I can do is add the Blessed Mother directed us at Fatima is to pray fire the world and try my best to do everything with a loving intention. 7 Reply Kevin3 months agoKevinToday’s question would be an excellent one for every world leader to answer before they take office. For myself, I hold caring for the common good of all people, maintaining peace at all cost, and advancing the safety, wellbeing, and education of every child as I would my own, to be values that I hold for myself and are qualities that I look for when I vote for candidates who will represent me, from town councils to presidents. That’s how I attempt to fulfill my vision of the world. 8 Reply Howie Geib3 months agoHowie GeibI have been surviving. Preserving myself so that I can be used as a channel, a conduit, not source. So perhaps that is my vision, that we are stewards only, not the artist. I do not see myself as a personally powerful force capable of shifting the world or others. At best I can be real. If I have a role as a shape shifter or Talisman I am unaware of that. I want no part of the war we (humans) seem to be having with the physical world. Our ‘visions’ have not gone well. Maybe it is early and I haven’t had enough coffee, yet this question alarms me in some way. Encouraging magical thinking in me to some level of influence I do not wish to have.
