Kevin11 months agoKevinIf I was not open to change, it means that I’ll stop growing as a person, and be left behind in the never-ending ark of human advancement. That reality supports and nudges me to “keep pace” in every way that I can. 6 Reply Malag11 months agoMalagThere’s the pull change, where I adapt to something challenging happening. With that I say (and believe) periodically that something interesting, maybe something good, will arise from this. For push change, where I’m choosing to change something in my life, I usually break it into bite sized pieces and build some habit-structures. 5 Reply Mica11 months agoMicaSupport. My latest ‘change’ was getting tech support for a computer problem I’d been beating my head against the wall about today. 3 Reply Dusty Su11 months agoDusty SuThe simple knowledge that my soul becomes brittle, inflexible, looses its sense of adventure, closes off to being and receiving love! Without the flow stagnation follows. 6 Reply Don Jones11 months agoDon JonesWhat is here, is here and everything else is either a possibility or a memory. I have always found dancing to the rhythm of the music is the best experience. 5 Reply SK11 months agoSKThat everyone has a story and that story may change me OR my story may change them. 6 Reply dcdeb11 months agodcdebPeople around me 4 Reply Elaine11 months agoElaineRecognizing that there’s always more to any story than I know. A posture of humility is a pretty reliable support. 6 Reply Holly in Ohio11 months agoHolly in OhioIf I feel overwhelmed or dislike the particular change I am experiencing, I try to picture myself and this life as a really interesting movie, and I pick my theme music. All good movies and novels have their light moments and dark moments, and their times of tension. This imagining puts me into a bigger picture and helps temper the challenges of the moment. Our beloved stories are good stories; stories with change. Our beloved lives are the same. 7 Reply Nelson11 months agoNelsonMy team at work has been incredible. We’re all growing through similar growing pains in our careers. But we all have similar goals. We pick each other up when the other is feeling distraught or defeated. We check in with each other almost on a daily. We remind each other of the things we’ve accomplished thus far. Finding a community has been instrumental for me during my career change. I’m so thankful for my team. 8 Reply Ed Schulte11 months agoEd Schulte"The more thinks change the more they remain the same" is to old adage which says the same as, "there is nothing new under the sun". The only escape out of “thinking behaviour habits” is observation of it ….and the external world aka “nature” provides abundant opportunities ……..this is but one of them A White Lily Visualise a white lily [ or hold a flower of your choice ] in your etheric hands … see every detail. Feel the firm stem and tender leaves . . . caress the silky, snow-white petals … breathe in its scent… touch the centre and see how the grainy pollen sticks to your fingers. Excluding all other thought, concentrate your entire attention on the flower. You will feel the vibrations of the flower are different from your own. Slow your breathing down … lower your vibrations … and gradually attune yourself to the flower. Enter the flower and see it from inside … observe everything there … slowly become one with the lily. You can see many, many details … observe the structure of the fibres … see the liquids gently moving … you are inside the flower! The flower speaks of God’s Wisdom. An entire universe is in there and you are within it. Witness the work of the Archangels. The flower – in form, colour, and smell – is in you … and you are in it. “Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these” (Luke 12:27). Begin to breathe normally … slowly raise your vibrations to your human nature. The flower is still in your hands. But now it looks different as you know all about it. Give the lily a taste of your energy. see it reacting to your vibrations . . it is trembling. Feel it. . it speaks to you through its vibrations … it is the language of life … the language of love. Listen and learn. Give this flower your love and appreciation. Ask yourself: who am I who can do all this? I can attune myself to anything and be atone with everything . . knowing who I am as a Spirit Soul, I know how to behave as a personality. With all your love offer the lily to the world . .. wish that peace, love and understanding prevail across the globe . .. from heart to heart … from country to country. Breathe deeply … balance your bodies .. . and slowly feel your material body again. Read More8 Reply Holly in Ohio11 months agoHolly in OhioWhat an amazing and beautiful meditation!!!! As long as I have some things that can stay the same, whether it be routine, a certain food, prayer/meditation practices, walking, time in nature, friendships upon which to lean – then I’ve learned that change, whether they are sudden, planned, or painful, can be opportunities for cherished hopes, dreams and surprises to be lived into. 6 Reply JDS11 months agoJDSBalance – one of my favorite words … 5 Reply sunnypatti11 months agosunnypattiWell, I’ve learned you either embrace change or fight it. And I’ve also learned that fighting it doesn’t prevent it, so I choose the embrace. 9 Reply Mary Pat11 months agoMary PatMy prayer life supports me. Meditation, prayers, and on those rare occasions, just letting myself sit and be. Making a point to visit nature, which for me today is going to a state park and surrounding myself with the natural world.
