Eating a healthy meal, drinking water. Doing my daily yoga practice. Taking a nice hot bath. Watching a good tv show with my husband. Taking a walk. Listening to music. Washing my hair. Washing my face first thing in the morning, then washing the day away before bed. Reading a good book. Preparing a home cooked meal for my family. Baking cookies. Finishing the laundry. Putting clean sheets on my bed. Taking our dog for a walk. Getting a go...Having a cup of sweet coffee first thing in the morning. Eating a healthy meal, drinking water. Doing my daily yoga practice. Taking a nice hot bath. Watching a good tv show with my husband. Taking a walk. Listening to music. Washing my hair. Washing my face first thing in the morning, then washing the day away before bed. Read More6 Reply Emma1 year agoEmmaWhen I am able to feel strong during exercise, I feel completely rejuvenated. The fact that I am strong enough in my body to move and keep me active is incredible. I also feel rejuvenated when I take time for myself at night, whether that's doing a face mask, stretching, or even something as simple as a shower. These are all the things that I have taken for granted for so long and shouldn't because of how incredible something so simple can make me feel. Also, there's truly nothing quite like a F...When I am able to feel strong during exercise, I feel completely rejuvenated. The fact that I am strong enough in my body to move and keep me active is incredible. I also feel rejuvenated when I take time for myself at night, whether that’s doing a face mask, stretching, or even something as simple as a shower. These are all the things that I have taken for granted for so long and shouldn’t because of how incredible something so simple can make me feel. Also, there’s truly nothing quite like a Facetime call, hangout (although that can’t really happen now), or even a text conversation that just makes you feel so connected and fulfilled. A hot bath, especially in the winter. Hot, sweet coffee or cocoa. Yoga. Laughter, especially that spontaneous, just can’t stop kind. Good quality sleep. Joy in every cell of my being, a rare but the more so a gift of sorts, radiating out with a beaming smile may be or through the eyes, always in the heart, to be shared with you and you and all. Dancing, singing under the shower, and most of all, when I could contribute to others being happy, like yesterday, when we shared cooking with some friends and it was all so delicious, or while talking with ...First thought is joy, in the mean time, I do not consider it simple, rather it is deeply precious. A few years ago I was concerned about sleeping 10 hours or more every day. I went to a nutritionist and got somewhat of a handle on this by changing my diet. Last night I slept only 7 hours and feel well rested. My fall back has to do with what happened before bed. Well, yesterday I completed writing an article that had been brewing for a long time. It is controversial, and I'd hesitated for a long while in writing ...This is partly a mystery to me. I am 77 years old with a body ten years younger. A few years ago I was concerned about sleeping 10 hours or more every day. I went to a nutritionist and got somewhat of a handle on this by changing my diet.
