I spend the time for two or three breaths for each focus. 3 Reply Niv2 years agoNivNothing. 2 Reply Malag2 years agoMalagMeditation in the morning 2 Reply Deborah2 years agoDeborahPrayer, meditation, lighting candles, reflection, john o’donohue readings 3 Reply Holly Wells2 years agoHolly WellsIntentional breathing practice; truly experiencing the light, crisp Spring wind in the trees and on my face. 2 Reply Hot Sauce2 years agoHot SaucePracticing reducing, reusing, and recycling; reflecting on my personal and collective dharma; practicing channeling my desires to serve the needs of others; practicing gratitude; practicing wu-wei and the "emptying of the mind" to become more open; following my roles in society; singing; reading the Bible; prayer; looking at patterns in life events to discern God's will; studying the development of UFO and alien mythologies and experiences; acting in theater; running; watching films and finding ...Practicing reducing, reusing, and recycling; reflecting on my personal and collective dharma; practicing channeling my desires to serve the needs of others; practicing gratitude; practicing wu-wei and the “emptying of the mind” to become more open; following my roles in society; singing; reading the Bible; prayer; looking at patterns in life events to discern God’s will; studying the development of UFO and alien mythologies and experiences; acting in theater; running; watching films and finding spiritual meaning in them; Samhain rituals; practicing the Golden Rule; recognizing the interdependence of everything in the universe; purifying physical space to be more energetically open; practicing radical non-violence; and divination are all rituals that connect me with the sacred. Digging in the soil, planting, dividing, caring for my plants daily connects me to the miracle that is Nature. To see new growth from dead-looking plants, and even to see how insects (pests, some would say) use plants for food, for incubators for their progeny, as camouflage, and to help pollenate other plants is a joy and a blessing to behold. I find the sacred in Nature. 6 Reply Present Moment2 years agoPresent MomentCurrently living with those tiny children of god: cutter ants ! 2 Reply Julia Elena2 years agoJulia ElenaConstant awareness of God in everything; taking the time to sit and meditate 3 Reply Dawn Elaine2 years agoDawn ElaineCelebrating Easter Mass from hundreds of miles away with my Franciscan home parish. 5 Reply Michele2 years agoMicheleLighting candles. I often do yoga outside in the morning and take time to breathe and stare at the sky. One day last week a Bald Eagle was soaring along so I tracked it across the sky. For me, taking the time to connect and observe nature is a ritual that connects me to the sacred. 7 Reply 1 2 Next » My Private Gratitude Journal Write an entry in your private gratefulness journal Get Started This site is brought to you by A Network for Grateful Living, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
