I am also grateful for my brother, my last surviving member of my “first family,” and really, a fairly new relationship for us as we grew up mostly apart and he was emotionally distant until recently. Having that relationship now is something I treasure, and we are growing closer and mutually benefitting from sharing our commonality. I have dear friends, too. We were just texting each other plans for Thanksgiving. And of course my partner, who will be joining us. 7 Reply sunnypatti7 months agosunnypattiAll of them – from the deep relationships to the casual ones. They are all in my life for a reason. But the deep ones, I am most grateful for, as these are the people I can share anything with from joys to fears, and they celebrate or hold my hand as needed. My husband, my parents, my brother and sisters… these are the people I am most connected to, and I love them so much. 7 Reply 1 2 Next » My Private Gratitude Journal Write an entry in your private gratefulness journal Get Started This site is brought to you by A Network for Grateful Living, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
