Deeply grateful that she could open up. What matters to me is to be of service to help others to find back to the inner light of His Love, which we all share, the basis of our interconnected being here, in all ways possible and so to possibly help to make this world a little better place for all. Gratefulness is one tool God has provided for my use during what promises to be a lifelong pursuit of personal integrity. 2 Reply dcdeb5 months agodcdebThriving, giving. 1 Reply Elaine5 months agoElaineSuch a broad question I’m going to hone in here. The noticing practice I’m following invites me today to notice the taste of water. Yes, the taste. It is delicious! What matters is that water is safe to drink, that commodification ends before it’s privatized everywhere, that it’s protected from toxicity, that it is recognized as a nonnegotiable human right and available to everyone everywhere, that those with perfectly good tap water stop buying it in single use plastic bottles. I wrote this poem on what matters: The Buck Stops Here God, You are not a Being. You are Being it’s self, ever faithful, ever present, in my joy and my sorrow. Your vulnerability humbles me beyond belief and at times, leaves me lonely and afraid. You see, I’ve come to know my choices matter. They either nurture or destroy the gift of life. Why? Your vulnerability humbles me beyond belief and at times, leaves me lonely and afraid. You see, I’ve come to know my choices matter. They either nurture or destroy the gift of life. Why? Because, You have made us all Creator and I don’t want the responsibility! Why don’t You change the game? Just fix everything? “It’s not possible,” You say. “I have to change. It’s called free will,” You say. “Become the peace I seek.” “Share it with all I meet.” “It’s an inside job,” You say. “That begins and ends with me.” Read More3 Reply Blossom5 months agoBlossomTo be a decent warm kind loving human being. Words I use to describe my Mother. Being strong and courageous so I can live with a gentle heart, I want a gentle life. It is in my lineage of incredibly strong women to do this. Finding a path to increase my spiritual wisdom by supercharging what is already there and stop fighting what is not. 3 Reply Linda5 months agoLindaBeing a decent person. 2 Reply Mica5 months agoMicaWhat really matters to me? Wow – I fussed about so many things last night – the way my macbook is ‘bleeding,’ the fact that, tho my birthday is on a Sunday tomorrow, my son is not offering his usual Sunday dinner [celebration will be a week later], and so on. The environmental state of Earth is one thing that matters to me, but what, pray tell, can I actually do?? I’ll keep thinking about this.. 1 Reply Michele5 months agoMicheleHappy birthday Mica! 1 Reply Mica5 months agoMicaThank you, dear Michele! After I got over fussing about it, I invited my daughter out for coffee and she countered with a brunch offer, so I am indeed getting to celebrate with one of my children on my birthday. ‘Funny how useful it is to stop fussing about things 😊 1 Reply Holly in Ohio5 months agoHolly in OhioWe do not “make other people happy,” but we can go far in supporting and loving our family and close ones so they can make their own happiness. They matter to me. In a wider circle, people matter to me, and I hope I serve my community. And the planet matters to me. 5 Reply Maeve5 months agoMaeveHaving joy and enjoying what I do and what I experience. Being with family, delighting in conversations with friends and people I meet and interact with, including my students and staff at school. And loving and deeply caring for the Earth, our home. 1 Reply Jamie5 months agoJamiePeace Such a simple one syllable word…yet holds so much meaning- Justice, equality, love, unity, acceptance Sunrises, sunsets, the ocean, lake, water, snowfall, the stars Birds chirping, children giggling, campfires, rain drops, a fountain A gentle breeze, the warmth of the sun, a hand held… 2 Reply Marnie Jackson5 months agoMarnie JacksonMy family and giving back to the world 1 Reply Hermann-Josef5 months agoHermann-JosefTo stay in contact with inner peace. Family, investing in the next generation, giving unconditional love, trying to live like a follower of Jesus…. making a difference (in a good way!)… being useful. My faith and looking at the greater picture helps me deal with things going on around myself and the world. The principles allow me to know that their is more to life than just living and that our individual energies connect everything not just here but in the afterlife as well. This gives me hope, love and compassion and most of all gratitude 1 Reply 1 2 Next » My Private Gratitude Journal Write an entry in your private gratefulness journal Get Started This site is brought to you by A Network for Grateful Living, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
