While it is true that it is gratifying to be asked a question upon which I can share my expertise from time to time, it is truly what keeps me going when I am asked something that I have no earthly idea what the answer is. This brings curiosity, which breeds interest. Wakes me from the stupor I am often in and quickens my heart. All good things. 13 Reply Kevin1 year agoKevinI am most grateful for new questions, questions that I have never had the chance to ponder, questions that make me think in new ways and deeper than ever before, and questions that I cannot dismiss until they have been answered by me, and hopefully, lead my thinking and action in new directions. 11 Reply Howie Geib1 year agoHowie GeibI have a teacher who likes to pose questions and then asks me to ‘hold the question’ for awhile. Simply ponder it, from different directions and angles, notice how the question, in and of itself, brings forth reactions within me…and let that process be thoroughly experienced before working on the answer! 3 Reply Kevin1 year agoKevinSounds like my kind of teacher, Howie! And speaking of “teachers” of the natural kind, hope that you faired well with the most recent hurricane, Eta. I read that you were getting ready for it to come through. 2 Reply Howie Geib1 year agoHowie GeibYes indeed! All is well. I was able to avoid the waters! 2 Reply « Previous 1 2 My Private Gratitude Journal Write an entry in your private gratefulness journal Get Started This site is brought to you by A Network for Grateful Living, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
