I will try to come out of my shell. 2 Reply reality9 months agorealityEating some of the onions I cooked two weeks ago 🙂 reality 2 Reply Jennifer L. Wyatt9 months agoJennifer L. WyattI have plenty of new activities that I need to start immediately. I have some learning tapes on how to speak french. I have always wanted to learn French. I also have a family tree that I have been working on Ancestry.com. I have let that go for far too long. I have some craft projects that I have been avoiding. Life has many wonderful doors that one can open or keep closed. The only obstacle to my opening up the doors is my low self-esteem. 3 Reply Gayle Reisig9 months agoGayle ReisigYou are worthy right now just as you are. I deal with usual tasks in a new way, after a partial reduction of the lockdown. That’s enough for today. 4 Reply Cheryl Read9 months agoCheryl ReadWell it’s not new but I dusted off my old bike….found out my helmet was broken….out to buy a new one today…..in the saddle so to speak for the 1st. time in years today or tomorrow! 5 Reply Melissa9 months agoMelissaI am taking a free drawing class today on “birds” which has been such a comfort to me to hear their songs this spring. Their songs give me so much hope and pleasure. 6 Reply Michael9 months agoMichaelBeing grateful is a new challenge every day. A smile will be indicative of success, mine or from others, or, better still, from both. There is no logic in NOT doing so. Maybe it really is not so much a challenge as a way of being, as in the zen reference to beginners mind???? 4 Reply slawrence9 months agoslawrenceI could try a breathing exercise. I also have a new essential oil to try. 4 Reply Mica9 months agoMicaAhh – I guess today’s question is an indication that I need to work more, today, on the paper I started yesterday. May my mind and gut have as little distress as possible during the process. Thank you for the question. 3 Reply TeriB9 months agoTeriBIt can’t happen today, and I might not be able to do it this year as I’m in the midst of packing up and moving to a different state, but my new home has a huge backyard and I would love to have a vegetable garden. 5 Reply Katrina9 months agoKatrinaI just started some new online exercise classes. Today was a FitStep class that was sort of a dancercise class, which I loved. It was difficult to learn new steps, and my heart rate was up to a level it hasn’t been in a while – all. of which I considered a good thing. And it was FUN. I hope they keep these up after the quarantine. I’m hooked. 3 Reply Sarah9 months agoSarahReading is nothing new for me but I’ve just gotten a book by Jeffrey Archer and am excited to try a new author today 3 Reply Pilgrim9 months agoPilgrimMaybe try to do my own tax returns. Though I will give myself through the weekend to lower the stress. 3 Reply Rachel9 months agoRachelMy first reaction to this was, “I already have my day planned and this is annoying”. Also, “I built a raised garden bed yesterday, that was new for me. Does that count?” I may not try a new activity on this very day but I will definitely think about this. Perhaps I will try to sew a mask with my very unruly sewing machine or maybe I will pick up the skirt I was knitting this winter and work on the waistband. Something I have been stymied by because I’ve never done it before! 4 Reply Pilgrim9 months agoPilgrimI say yes and yay for building your raised garden yesterday! Maybe walk out and look at what you have done and think, wow, I did this! Or treat your hands with special kindness today. I’d love to see a picture as your garden is growing. 3 Reply 1 2 Next » My Private Gratitude Journal Write an entry in your private gratefulness journal Get Started This site is brought to you by A Network for Grateful Living, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
