Tomorrow I start with door greeting and handing out programs. I am also working on joining a kayaking club. 2 Reply Larsdad5 months agoLarsdadMy new activity is close observation, looking and listening. Today I heard a translator assisting non English speakers purchase a cross country ski trail pass. I’m grateful for seeing the delight of “others” playing in the snow for the first time. Winter can be beautiful. 2 Reply Elaine5 months agoElaineI love novelty and doing new things. This week I jumped on the Wordle train. Anyone else? I’ve picked up a few new activities in pandemic times: knitting, rug hooking, canning, earth altars, house plant propagation, more vegan/vegetarian cooking (all VERY modestly without much actual talent apparent I hasten to say) And an opportunity to go to Tuscany in 2023 appeared this week! Not today, but this is a prompt to learn a bit of Italian. 😊 1 Reply Malag5 months agoMalagYay Wordle 1 Reply pkr5 months agopkrI am not sure what will unfold on this beautiful Saturday. I will try to be in the present moment & see. I do know I will begin to take all my Christmas decorations down, it is time. Happy Saturday All.✨🙏❤️ 3 Reply Ruslana5 months agoRuslanaSounds wonderful. 2 Reply TK5 months agoTKWe will see what the day brings. Heading to our farm for the weekend and tending to routine things. Great time to practice gratitude! 2 Reply Mary Pat5 months agoMary PatI have no plans, but we will see what opportunity pops up. 2 Reply Nelson5 months agoNelsonI’m going over to my sister’s. Their German Shepard mix is still a puppy. A big, strong, energetic puppy. I’m going to train him on some new commands. Let’s see how this goes. 3 Reply Cathie5 months agoCathieHmm, do not know. I will keep an eye open for an opportunity:) 2 Reply Holly in Ohio5 months agoHolly in OhioI’m trying to teach myself needlepoint. “Keeping it fresh” is a challenge in the best of times, but seems especially important during the pandemic when days can be dull. My dear friend Liz would pick a new thing about once a year to explore in depth. That’s how I met her – when she wanted to learn knitting. 4 Reply Ruslana5 months agoRuslanaTested Positive for Covid yesterday. Feel fine. Lost my taste. But, now I had time to start my Gratitude Journal. Prayed more and am enjoying the peace and quiet of self isolation. I have had very little peace since the start of Covid. 0 Reply Maurice Frank5 months agoMaurice FrankWe have a recipe for a type of biscotti that we have never made. 4 Reply Holly in Ohio5 months agoHolly in Ohioyum! I made almond biscotti a couple of days ago. 🙂 3 Reply Ruslana5 months agoRuslanaNo time like the present. Enjoy! 0 Reply EJP5 months agoEJPBaking bread on a cold, winter’s day with gratitude of the warmth of the kitchen and the aroma of my accomplishment. 6 Reply Ruslana5 months agoRuslanaSounds wonderful. 0 Reply Katrina5 months agoKatrinaIt’s a cold and very windy day today, which just begs for starting a new book in front of the fireplace with a hot beverage. 7 Reply 1 2 Next » My Private Gratitude Journal Write an entry in your private gratefulness journal Get Started This site is brought to you by A Network for Grateful Living, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
