We serve people from every strata of society. Some of our customers are challenging personalities, while life deeply challenges others. When I show up as unconditional kindness, joy, with friendship at the helm, I can illicit rewarding smiles. Smile first, send the boomerang out and see it return. 8 Reply Vincent-Edward Ciliberti1 year agoVincent-Edward CilibertiBy telling the person that most people, especially politicians, are altruistic. 3 Reply Holly in Ohio1 year agoHolly in OhioVery interesting. However I was not always like that. In Public school the thought of being MY TRUE SELF was not accepted and I was bullied based off of things I had no control over let alone things I liked (Spice Girls etc). As I became older anxiety creeped in and my pain developed to FEAR and I was ANGER in Junior High School, in High School I was more friendly but still...WHAT MIGHT YOU DO TO HELP SOMEONE SMILE TODAY?Thats funny, I don’t know a day or a few minutes that goes by and I do not make people laugh. As I became older anxiety creeped in and my pain developed to FEAR and I was ANGER in Junior High School, in High School I was more friendly but still guarded. NOW I am the child I always wanted to be, make people laugh and heal. What I WILL DO is record how many pple ,times I am able to make someone laugh. Challenge excepted FYI: For those of us who are more introverts start with a community that you share values with, I say that to say not everyone will laugh and the people degrading you and your humor are afraid of LOVE and operate off of FEAR, stay away from them until you have increased your confidence and no longer stress what other people think of you. And I’ll do so just by being kind, offering assistance, or maybe making a joke. 6 Reply Javier Visionquest1 year agoJavier VisionquestI have today off, SunnyPatti, but my entry for this morning is often how I begin training new front end staff. I’m the kinda hokey grandpa type around the shop but it makes them smile 4 Reply 1 2 Next » My Private Gratitude Journal Write an entry in your private gratefulness journal Get Started This site is brought to you by A Network for Grateful Living, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
