We’ve started meeting again for the last 2 months and have scheduled a zoom for next month. 4 Reply dcdeb6 months agodcdebTry to give in a little and open myself to a few changes. 3 Reply Don Jones6 months agoDon JonesStart from a joyful place. 2 Reply Lauryn6 months agoLaurynCook them dinner. I have texted her a “camping” get well GIF, it made her smile. I will continue to check in with her & assure her this “condition” will too pass & she will be feeling better soon. Happy Saturday All. Pray for our friends in the South, Midwest who are suffering from horrible storms, please. 🙏❤️🙏 5 Reply JayJacks6 months agoJayJacksI’m going to smile to others while I’m out running errands. I’m going to offer to be of service to my wife, how can I help her today and make her day better? I’m going to extend my gratitude to all of you, thank you for sharing your words, for being here with me, and for just being. You’re all wonderful and I want to remind both myself and you reading this that you’re worth it, you deserve love, and are loved. Some people will be getting their presents early. I can’t wait to give it to them. 🙂 4 Reply Javier Visionquest6 months agoJavier VisionquestOh, the light and love! As much as I’d like to turn my focus to gratitude first order of each day, I’ve already had an argument with my tween son stemming from his fixation with online gaming and his inability to regulate his emotions. I spoke yesterday with a (former) colleague, in their twenties, who confirmed for me that video game dependency is real. It would bring my son joy for me to return the offending console like a clean needle would bring joy to the heroin addict. 4 Reply Marnie Jackson6 months agoMarnie JacksonI can bring joy to my daughter by participating in her many holiday ideas. I am grateful for her initiative – and it is just time for me to enjoy her. 4 Reply Mary Pat6 months agoMary PatI have read the responses so far, and they are wonderful! I even picked up a few ideas…. I am sending my husband an ecard, and letting him know how much he means to me. Also am taking time to slow down as I go about my day. Love this question! 4 Reply Ed Schulte6 months agoEd SchulteInvite them to a wholesome brunch feast, tour the huge Christmas farmer’s market , then the Indigenous / First Nations / Art – Craft and Gift show ( watching for what they like or are interested in ..so later can buy as presents ) …and in the evening , after dinner, take them for a drive ( several times ) along the 1 kilometre long ‘Candy-cane Lane’ neighbourhood outdoor Christmas light show. 9 Reply sunnypatti6 months agosunnypattiBe kind to everyone I interact with. Help a customer find what they’re looking for when I’m at work. Tell my husband how awesome I think he is and how his hard work doesn’t go unnoticed. Share the light. 7 Reply EJP6 months agoEJPBe kind and listen….add a hug if needed. 8 Reply Kevin6 months agoKevinPick up the phone and call to let my friend know that I’m thinking of her. Stop in to a nearby craft ice cream shop and grab a large chocolate-mocha milk shake and bring it to my friend who’s now on hospice. Text one of my grandsons and pick an afternoon after school next week for us to get together. 8 Reply Michele6 months agoMicheleToday is the day I plan on making my annual donations to various charities. I also will be doing some xmas shopping. I received my Covid booster last night so I’m proud of myself for doing that – I initially had the J&J but went with Pfizer for the booster. 7 Reply Sarah6 months agoSarahSpend time with them, paying attention and truly listening to them. 7 Reply Christine6 months agoChristineWe have a nice old Dutch song. One of the sentences goes like this: Bring a sun among the people, to see a happy face does everyone good. It also has a very cheerful tune. Today I will show my happy face to everyone. It will have to be the eyes because of the covid mouth mask. 9 Reply Michele6 months agoMicheleEyes are windows to the soul and yours shine I’m sure:) 4 Reply Christine6 months agoChristine😊 2 Reply JDS6 months agoJDSYes ♥️ 3 Reply 1 2 Next » My Private Gratitude Journal Write an entry in your private gratefulness journal Get Started This site is brought to you by A Network for Grateful Living, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
