As a child, I went outside then with an umbrella, imagining I could fly like Mary Poppins. So much fun! 4 Reply delilah12 months agodelilahbeing with/talking to thoes people that just make you forget about everything and just have the best time no matter what is when i feel most alive and is truley the best when your with them and forget every bad thing and are just living the moment. struggling with mental health these times remind me why im happy to be on this earth and i am go glad to be surrounded by the best most wonderful people. 3 Reply delilah12 months agodelilahi am a competitive dancer, the nervous yet energetic feeling before i step on the stage/floor to compete has to be the time i feel most alive and out of this world. 4 Reply Cathie12 months agoCathieGreat conversations, hikes in nature and deep silences that burst into life. 4 Reply Dusty Su12 months agoDusty SuCoffee and inner reflection at sunrise. Babies, my grandchildren, being with family, journaling, meditation, music, from Verdi’s Requiem to Pop and Rock and Roll. All different kinds if music. This question brings back a memory for me that is very old….my first thought about this, other than the ocean, was when I was probably about 10 or 11 years old. I was with my family, and we had gone on a vacation to Wisconsin. It was early morning, and my father and I went down to the dock, got in an aluminum boat, and off we went to fish. It was my first experience of fishing, and I wasn’t too sure I would like it, but I was always game to try something new….after a bit, Dad stopped the boat, put the anchor down, and taught me how to “cast off” after baiting the hook on my pole. (He baited it. I thought it was cruel and disgusting.) Then Dad sat down and cast his line in. Silence. The sun had just come up when we started out, so it was a “new” day for me….I remember the stillness that filled the air…the slow rocking of the boat…..the trees that surrounded the lake…..It was quiet, the air was fresh all around me, and for the first time, I remember feeling so alive and happy! We were both pretty quiet anyway, so it was a peaceful outing. It is a wonderful memory. He passed away when he was 56 of cancer, so this lives in my heart pretty deeply. 5 Reply Phil J.12 months agoPhil J.Putting another ahead of myself and Truly being Helpful to Someone. 7 Reply Katrina12 months agoKatrinaLeading an expectant and receptive group of people in Bible Study; being with my whole family on vacation or at my house; traveling and seeing beautiful new-t0-me natural scenery; worshiping in a sanctuary amidst lots of other people with great traditional music. 6 Reply Pilgrim12 months agoPilgrimSpending time outdoors, in the woods, at the beach. Very livening indeed!
