I’m working on the sufficiency that I am enough – I think this is a lifelong exploration. 2 Reply Caroline4 months agoCarolineMy breathe 2 Reply Ose4 months agoOsefor the moment being, my delicious cup of coffee, as pkr already cherished as well, and a warm and cozy place, food and clean water to stay healthy, and dear friends close by, and a job where I may serve and help others, God willing. 2 Reply devy4 months agodevyMy standard of living having food on the table, having a roof over my head , having my health and support by others. I try not to « compare myself with the Jones ». I am grateful and realize that the grass is not always green on the other side, Having more material things does not mean that others are happier, I am happy and thankful.. 2 Reply Linda4 months agoLindaTruly, everything. The time to think and just be during Covid while I have worked from home has been a blessing. I recognize how much love and friendship and support I have in my life, and I am providing the same for others. 6 Reply Hot Sauce4 months agoHot SauceI have enough clothing; shelter; emotional support from my family, friends, and animal companions; clean food and water; transportation; and healthcare. 4 Reply Scarlettmae4 months agoScarlettmaeI find that, in my fortune, everything in my life is already sufficient. Those who want to leave footprints will never fly. 3 Reply Kate4 months agoKateMy family – I have been so blessed to have a loving, stable family with great parents who have encouraged and supported me always. My hope, good heart and perseverance have also remained intact so matter what I’ve been through. Especially in these times, I am grateful for my job. 5 Reply Dusty Su4 months agoDusty SuSuch a great question and the fact it makes me happy to reflect on it is a great sign of blessing in my life. I need so little, and the little I need, I need so little (St. Francis,) and yet I feel so rich because contentment is great gain. Also, I really do have all that I need and it is enough… 5 Reply Samuel4 months agoSamuelI thank God every day for giving me sufficient resources to live reasonably comfortably and still have some to share with those less fortunate. I am indeed blessed… 8 Reply DeVonna4 months agoDeVonnaThere’s an old gospel song, whose lyrics say, in part, “Little is much, when God is in it…” Today’s question reminds me of it. HE is my sufficiency, in all things. 7 Reply Zenith4 months agoZenithTime. The earth. The sun. The universe. Mother Nature. Clean air and water. Clothing. Warmth. My piano. My phone. My bike. My health. 6 Reply pkr4 months agopkrRight now at this very moment, my cup of coffee is sufficient! Finally, that makes everything in my life sufficient. 6 Reply DeVonna4 months agoDeVonnaAmen, I’m right there with you 2 Reply Lioness4 months agoLionessLove and life and support 3 Reply Trish4 months agoTrishAlthough I don’t always remember this, everything in my life is sufficient. I have a beast of an ego so I always want more. It’s a glorious life I live w/ all that I need right in front of me. 3 Reply Mark Piper4 months agoMark PiperAs someone who seeks abundance (both in a spiritual sense, but yes also in the more problematic capitalistic sense) sufficiency is hard to identify because when you're seeking abundance, most everything measures up to insufficient.
