I had to send dozens of similar emails and this made the task more efficient. I had never done this before. More practical than spiritual or personal, but still meaningful to me. 5 Reply Mary Pat5 months agoMary PatI really am glad for you! I am a self taught computer person, and still have not learnt how to do a spreadsheet. You reminded me that is something I had wanted to learn how to do, so I will add it to my list of things I really want to learn-thanks! 4 Reply Butterfly5 months agoButterflyI have learnt that I can cope with, and even enjoy, lots of different people coming to help me. Three months ago I had to change to a new care agency. In that time I have met 32 different care staff as opposed to the familiar 5 or 6 that I was used to. Having an illness that causes extreme fatigue and weakness I found it terribly stressful with so many people coming and going; but I have settled in and got to know most of them. Having an illness that causes extreme fatigue and weakness I found it terribly stressful with so many people coming and going; but I have settled in and got to know most of them. They are all really kind and I now enjoy seeing different people and hearing their news and I have learnt to carefully pace myself so I don’t get overwhelmed. It is a decadent treat, and brought smiles to many on Christmas Day. 7 Reply Mica5 months agoMicaThanks! I’m inspired to buy some, but the chocolate syrup I put in with coffee, water, and soy silk is probably good, too 🙂 2 Reply Holly in Ohio5 months agoHolly in Ohiosweet! 😄 3 Reply Kevin5 months agoKevinAbout once a week while doing some routine chore, my body reminds me that I am not getting any younger. She studies here in the Netherlands. She lives a few minutes walk from me. I was invited by her to eat with her. One of her biggest hobbies is cooking. I’m lucky with that. I am not a star in the kitchen myself. She prepared a very tasty meal for me. She’s going to give me a cooking class on New Year’s Day. We will cook and eat together. And we’re both looking forward to it. 12 Reply Kevin5 months agoKevinMost of my friends, Christine, are smart enough to know that they should keep me far away from the kitchen. It’s safer all around when they do! 🙂 3 Reply Christine5 months agoChristineShe doesn’t know yet that I’m a little clumsy, Kevin 🤭.
