Many years ago when I was attending 12 step meetings and sponsoring a lot of newcomers who were confused about what God’s will was for them, I realized that for me, God’s will is simple. All God/Life asks of me is that I deal in reality, that I don’t just look but that I be willing to see, to own my thoughts, my feelings, my actions. Until I accept this responsibility I will have a very difficult time seeing you. Why? B...That we as a species evolve enough to save the planet and each other.. Many years ago when I was attending 12 step meetings and sponsoring a lot of newcomers who were confused about what God’s will was for them, I realized that for me, God’s will is simple. All God/Life asks of me is that I deal in reality, that I don’t just look but that I be willing to see, to own my thoughts, my feelings, my actions. That's what I'm hoping to experience and I hope that for the world as well. What I have found is that the principles of the 12 steps are universal principles. It was helpful for me to see what inspired the program and what needs to change in the program. Not simply the courage to do difficult things and face demanding choices which challenge our perceived needs. But also the fortitude to simply face the fear and uncertainty and carry on.
