I suppose it is to advance on the path of enlightenment, for the more wisdom and compassion I contain, the better informed by thoughts, actions and words.

My deepest desire to serve the world is to walk humbly, assist my family, be courageous enough to help those in need and care for the earth.

One of my deepest desires is to help the needy & make more folks aware of mental illness. I have always worked in Benefits/Health Insurance and I have helped others obtain good Health Insurance plans for themselves and their families. I work mostly with Medicaid right now (for the past 4 years) at my company. I am a huge fan of the Health exchange marketplace that Obama brought to light. I am also thankful that action is being taken on outrageous prescription costs taken by the Biden Administration currently. I know this is a focus on my country but we all have to start somewhere.

Mine is a journey towards Mastery. It can be an elusive idea, but for me lands in realm of a way of being, one that results from attaining inspiration, lateral knowledge development and connection. My working life spanned the corporate sector including CEO roles. For many that might represent success. My Life Mastery however is different. It isn’t one that requires status, position or the trappings of material success. For me, Mastery spans intellectual, physical and spiritual aspects of my being. My guidance towards mastery does not come from a strategic plan. It comes from my relationship with God.

I hope to show the children that I work with that they are worthy, they are loved, and that they can make a difference in their world.

I would like to be able to help
young people from the most urban
areas, get out into the amazing nature
that we are so lucky to have all around us
here in the Bay Area. I know how
much it means to me and
how helpful it was and is to be able
to relax, learn, explore, and build
    confidence by challenging myself
    out in nature.

To make someone’s day better. But I need to do some selfcare too. I signed up for the Sacred Journey classes on this site and a set of on-line teachings about sleep. I have only gotten one of the ten done. Need to learn and practice some balance.

To be truly present and willing to be an instrument of the flow. As Eckhart Tolle says, “Life is the dancer and you are the dance.” We are all choreographers. What we say, what we do matters. I share a short poem I wrote after reading Tolle’s quote:
    The Dance
    Can I BE the Dance—
    the Dance that is Life?
    Can I be a Witness—
    that lets in the light?
    When there is Oneness,
    it shines oh so bright.
    Can I BE the Dance—
    the Dancer’s delight.
