Walk and watch and listen to the waves. 1 Reply dimple dangi2 months agodimple dangiI plan to make the best of this day and complete all my pending work for a good start to the week 1 Reply Don Jones2 months agoDon JonesHaha, there is this Day and then … I re-discover here in my innermost being a day so long it has neither beginning nor end. Time, tearing my heart as it slips through my fingers, eases through this Day leaving no wound. Here is no time, no change, no loss, no heartache. No time to do no thing. 2 Reply devy2 months agodevyEnjoy the outdoors.. sunny blue sky, warm 68 degrees! The exception for what we usually have here in November. Time to do some more gardening for winter and mowing the grass (again) for the last time this fall!! 2 Reply Hot Sauce2 months agoHot SauceToday, I plan to do some reading for seminary and to really take it in and learn how to apply the reading to my theology. 2 Reply Samuel2 months agoSamuel…also wish Kevin’s wife a Happy Birthday!! 🎂🎊🎁 3 Reply Samuel2 months agoSamuelBuild a couple of portable desks for homeschooled children for a friend. Shop for supplies to bake cookies for Giving Spoon to give away with their free meals. Pray. Not necessarily in that order…🙏🏻❤️ 5 Reply coastmoor2 months agocoastmoorI wish I had seen this question earlier in the day! I haven’t made good time of the day so far, but have just now done a bit of poetry, and prepared dinner, so all is not lost. 3 Reply Papilio2 months agoPapilioMy plan was to attend an online worship service after gardening. After picking up three boxes full of pinecones and pruning, I found a purple pansy blooming halfway under the porch. We already had snow accumulation and frosty mornings. Yet this pansy is smiling at me. I’m grateful for this encounter. When I came inside of the house, the online service was just ending. 7 Reply Trish2 months agoTrishWorship with nature! 2 Reply Papilio2 months agoPapilioI was thinking this might be called “lost in nature.” I feel “Worship with nature” is exactly what I experienced. Thank you. 2 Reply Zenith2 months agoZenithI have already done my Wim Hof breathing to strengthen my body against the virus. Then I will do language study and play pickleball. Also some meditation before pickleball. Through all of it will be thought watching to guard against complaint and criticism, turning instead to gratefulness to be alive and healthy. 5 Reply Carla2 months agoCarlaI’ll be going for a walk this morning & will enjoy the bright fall sunshine. Later I’ll have tea/coffee chats with fellow spiritual pilgrims that I journey with. Today I have a SoulCollage retreat to participate in. It’s a day of New Beginnings nationally in the US. I’m very grateful! 5 Reply Ed Schulte2 months agoEd SchulteAs the ‘Word of the Day’ suggests, “Make an Art out of it”! 5 Reply Rosemary2 months agoRosemaryWith gratitude, I will go about my day, each moment a precious blessing. Whether large or small, it is in the moments that we live our lives. May we be thankful for them all! 4 Reply Jim2 months agoJimThis precious day is for me a reflection of each day. By design, I spend an hour plus in self care, walking in the early morning, meditating in the sun, talking and working around with my wife, in conversation with my children, grandchildren and friends. Hopefully doing some good and when possible making the world a little better with some small acts of kindness. 7 Reply Jim2 months agoJimWhen I talked of meditating in the sun, it was more metaphoric. If I am so fortunate to have sun in the early morning.(I live in Michigan) I face the sun and with my eyes closed I see the brightness through my eyelids. No damage has ever occurred. To feel the warmth of the sun on my face and see the brightness through my closed eyes is a very pleasant experience for me. Best wishes. 1 Reply Nothing & No One2 months agoNothing & No OneThat is wonderful sir. Hmmm, and the mention of meditating in the sun reminds me to look up if there are any actual benefits or even risks to “sun gazing”. This kid mentioned it years ago and at the time I kind of scoffed at the practice without knowing about it really which was ignorant of me. 3 Reply Mica2 months agoMicaMeditate ‘in’ the sun, not ‘at’ the sun, Brobdingnagian! The sun is bright and damages your vision if you stare at it ◑﹏◐ 2 Reply Patricia2 months agoPatriciaLive in hope, be gentle, love, call out my best self — the self God knows I am and can be — as I meet this day… 6 Reply Nothing & No One2 months agoNothing & No OneBe all you can be! Not for me! For you. I suppose it is for all of God’s creatures too though? You inspire me to be mine too! 2 Reply Butterfly2 months agoButterflyI will be watching the birds coming to my garden as part of a voluntary recording program I belong to. Later I will be FaceTiming my son and gorgeous 2 year-old granddaughter. Then I will enjoy a meal that’s been lovingly cooked by one of my care workers. Wishing all here a wonderful peaceful day 😊 7 Reply Nothing & No One2 months agoNothing & No OneBeautiful Butterfly. What else should a splendid Beau do? I just started my own garden with a tiny stone barricade and blackberry bush during this Indian Summer here out back. Wishing you too 3 Reply Nothing & No One2 months agoNothing & No OneIf I could politely share this fantasy of acquiring a spectacular rural property which is just that, fantasia at this point in time or even any forseeable points up ahead and I can’t see very far as I don’t have an ounce of skilled foresight, anyhow the fantasy plans took on a humanitarian hue as I thought of how I could also house African refugees and setup a new life for them over here with me on that fantastic estate and help them launch their own livelihoods as residents on my property...If I could politely share this fantasy of acquiring a spectacular rural property which is just that, fantasia at this point in time or even any forseeable points up ahead and I can’t see very far as I don’t have an ounce of skilled foresight, anyhow the fantasy plans took on a humanitarian hue as I thought of how I could also house African refugees and setup a new life for them over here with me on that fantastic estate and help them launch their own livelihoods as residents on my property… Read More2 Reply Nothing & No One2 months agoNothing & No OneAll in all I guess I can use this fantastical vision that I don’t seem to be letting go of as unrealistic entirely to find some African refugee clothing lines to support today like just shopping not buying. I will search for ethical clothing lines that support some kind of people in need on this precious day is my answer sorry. 3 Reply Nothing & No One2 months agoNothing & No OneI just took action and subscribed to an email on a site that does the shopping for me I suppose. Now allow me to explain why I decided to spend my precious day doing this. Please? Also I can live right today and by doing right it might bring me one day closer to bringing my vision to fruition of not just making a “good” life for myself but for people who will never have that chance in a different nation and as far as I am concerned if you are American born and aren’t finding a good life take a look in the mirror as hard as it may be but that don’t mean I don’t wanna help them too in ways that are within in my power and skillset to do so.So I recently found myself getting all my clothing for work at a nearby thrift store and there are more than quite a bunch in my city as well as those fancy consignment shops where they buy the nicer used clothing from people to sell at a discounted rate anywho I don’t see myself shopping at let’s say Macy’s ever again as the clothes I have been getting are like designer and fit great and look great like no one would know where they came from and I got this stuff dirt cheap and my reasoning is I am being a true environmental hero by doing that as I am not supporting the Fast Fashion industry which harms not only the planet but people in terrible warehouse conditions and I don’t believe the regulations even today mean many of them enjoy what they do. If this one day isn’t my final one. 2 Reply Nothing & No One2 months agoNothing & No OneThe irony of Hatebreed’s name. Their lyrics are virtually a titanic lesson in true living. A.D. = American Dream? The lyrics might have one thinking Demise… 0 Reply Michele2 months agoMicheleI would like to get out and get some fresh air today before Eta makes her way to Florida. I took down my Halloween decorations yesterday, did my laundry so today it’s food shopping day. I have leftover picadillo for my son and a new 2021 calendar I bought for him to drop off. I’m sooooo grateful that we FINALLY have a new President of our Country!!!!!
