Spending time with my family, and whenever possible, in person. Being with a friend – longtime since that happened in person. A really good book. Spotting monarchs and hummingbirds. 7 Reply devy5 months agodevytaking care of my body(it is a temple), mediating to connect to my real me, being grateful, embracing my daily walks in nature, fueling my passion of living through music and art and humour either through watching a funny show or telling jokes. 4 Reply Vikram5 months agoVikramAs a medical student aspiring to be a doctor, knowing that I’m working toward a career in helping people is something that gladdens my heart. I’m a big Nature and outer space enthusiast. We are on a rock floating around in the vastness of infinity. The fact that we are even alive at all is a beautiful miracle. They are the theme or background music of my life. So it is important that I make conscious choices about which ‘Playlist’ I chose to listen to. There is great benefit for me in routine use of prayer. Regular times, regular structure. Patterns that have been established for centuries and seem to weave a grounded connection to my values and support my spirit. Beauty of all kinds. So I look for it in everything. 7 Reply Kevin5 months agoKevinBeing out on the water with my teammates rowing, photography, being with my family and exercising my faith as a Quaker all contribute to feeding my soul. 7 Reply Antoinette5 months agoAntoinetteWhat feeds my soul is the practice of love. Coming back to the present moment with mindfulness feeds my soul because it anchors my awareness to what is actually happening. Often when my mind is adrift it clings to something or some notion and creates a whole story about it. The mind being adrift in and of itself isn’t bad or good in and of itself from its own side. What is important here is what it is feeding my soul. Coming back to the here and the now with loving kindness and compassion ...What feeds my soul is the practice of love.
