The sun coming through my front window, having a cup of coffee and toast ready for my commute to work. We have casual jeans day every day so it is a joy just to throw something on. I work from home on Tuesdays and Fridays right now and love that. I usually take the dogs outside right before I leave and may take a small walk in the yard. On weds after work I’ve been taking a zumba class. Otherwise during the week when I work from home I try to take a walk with our dog Stanley on the paths out back at 4:30 after work. Usually in the evening I will visit this site. and watch my most recent binge show “The resident” Love it!
Since I’m in the evening now, sharing an evening meal via Zoom with my sister and her husband who are visiting in Texas in. their RV. Making my lunch for tomorrow, while listening to an interesting podcast. Going to bed, between warm flannel sheets, and reading a chapter in “The Tale of Despereaux.” 🙂
On my way to work while walking alongside the river and enjoying feeding the doves on such crisp-cold days despite a sign posed by the police, saying: “feeding the birds is not allowed”. Today someone who does roadwork there outside gave me a thumbs up when he saw seeing me feeding them. I went over to him who was of a foreign country and he told that when recently he did it, too, the neighbors really called the police, and these really showed up so he literally had to explain himself for taking care of them in winter. We both joined in heart, smiling widely in joy and were experiencing this happy moment together just having fed the birds and offering them some breakfast to warm their day, undisturbed. It was such a heartwarming encounter while randomly meeting such a heartwarming kindred heart. Thank you life for such beautiful moments, and thank you, dear one, for your being here, caring.
In the AM, my Hubby and I walk the dog and grab a coffee at the local coffee shop, yoga class, and time to center.
On the night walk with the dog and hubby, looking at the stars and the moon in this southern sky!
Opening my shades 1st thing in the morning looking at the sky, is it sunny, foggy or what? Giving thanks for the new day. Looking out my front windows & acknowledging the big glorious Redwood Trees in my sight. Putting water on for my morning coffee. Washing my face with clean warm water. I am thankful for my clean water.
Sipping coffee & eating my toast as I visit this site, reading spiritual stuff & meditating.
I am so grateful for the “simple” things, that don’t really seem so simple to me. I am blessed.
The sun lighting the eastern sky
in the morning
The sun dropping below the
western horizon in the evening.
My first cup of coffee.
Seeing my wife’s face in the morning
and feeling the gratitude that is
the gift of living with her.
My first cup of tea, saying goodmorning to my husband who is already up and having his coffee. Hugging my dog and cats. Having my quiet time with my tea, Taking a walk with my dog….hearing and seeing the birds and squirrels sing and run about. All things that bring comfort,
My first cup of tea to start the day. Some quiet time in the morning and afternoon. A walk outside and seeing squirrels chase one another and the birds flit from tree to tree.
Visiting this site, my first cup of coffee, taking my daily walk, writing what I call my Morning Medication/Meditation, the phone call from my sister each evening.
Waking up, looking at a beautiful plant, saying good night to the night, hello to the day, having coffee or tea, looking at the moving or limp flags and reading, the comments on this site.

The sunrises and the freshness of the new day. Bursting with possibilities. That gentle unfolding of what is. Swimming in abundance and Grace.

The beautiful sky when I woke up today, it was with rose and light blue tons so I went to walk at the beach.
All the possibilities that I have during my day, to try new things.
Sleep and wake up everyday together with my husband.
I cherish this new day with endless possibilities and opportunities.
