sit and observe it. Usually while doing
something else. Like petting a cat or
meditating or pondering the daily
question. It seems like a sacred time.
Coming to this site, having a warm robe, a hot shower, opening up the blinds to welcome the day, hearing my husband’s cane on the floor, and knowing I have a good book to read later.., these are things I cherish.
Morning coffee and a good book. Simple yoga. Watching the sun come up and into the backyard. This may be followed by various squirrels enjoying themselves out there, and various birds blessing the day with their songs.
Being able to use a toilet in the comfort of my home. After my daughter’s trip to Guatemala, I realize in this day and age, there are still places that don’t have that luxury.
My daily morning ritual of coffee and coming onto this website.
Petting and loving my cat.
I cherish my kids and family – everyday.
This act of self-care, posting on the question page, is one everyday thing I cherish. I cherish my husband bringing me a morning cuppa. I cherish my cat alarm clock. I cherish my daughter’s laughter and noise. I cherish my my exercise ball I sit on to type.
