To be your most authentic self, meaning not putting on facades or projecting yourself as a different, “more likable” version of who you think you should be. Understanding that you have a place in this world and you belong just as you are. Trying to fit in and hide parts of yourself is a form of self-betrayal. “Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You.”– Dr. Seuss 8 Reply Elle4 months agoElleTo face myself & others, honestly. Being open to learning and having fun in different ways AND to grow my passions. Also being open to others & hopefully , when the time is right- experiencing some new connections {smile}. 3 Reply Malag5 months agoMalagI really don’t know but I hope I choose to be in my life as much as is practicable and that some part of my heart isn’t beating elsewhere. 4 Reply Brown Rose5 months agoBrown RoseDon’t hold back. If you feel inspired, full speed ahead. 3 Reply Ose5 months agoOseYesterday, I was with a deeply traumatized client. In the end, I was crying because what we tried for the sake of helping her did not work. This did touch her. May a door open for her these days after. We did our best. 4 Reply sparrow4 months agosparrowWe cannot always make change, but we can plant the seeds, dear Ose . . . ♥ 2 Reply Ed Schulte4 months agoEd SchulteBlessings of Peace be with the two of you. I see you both in Archangel Ureal’s Silvery-White Light, a misty like cloud enfolding and bringing forth balance and harmony. There is an aspect of this principle in Brother David’s ‘Word of the Day’ …where he identifies what is often called “Mysticism” doesn’t occur in the time and place “thinking and talking” because it is a state in the 5 th dimension, The eternal Now, where everything IS in perfection. But again for that perfection to flow down into the 4th and 3rd dimension has to be a gentle process. “Mysticism is the experience, not talking or thinking about it, but the actual experience of Oneness with all. I think his heart was crushed due to depression and loneliness. So I’m wondering very much about these questions right now. Stop being a passive observer. Give, respond, participate, enjoy, engage, stand up for what you believe in, spread love & kindness. Smell the roses, smile, look for joy. I will have to think about this some more. 5 Reply Carol5 months agoCarol“…the expression of gratitude is not a single act taken in response to a single instance of bounty, but part of an ongoing cycle of giving and taking, taking and giving.” Today’s quote from Trebbe Johnson comes to mind when I think of living wholeheartedly. When I first read the quote and before I read today’s question, I thought of the cycle of our breath. It’s giving and taking/taking and giving. We take in nitrogen and oxygen from the air and give back mostly carbon dioxide to feed the plants. They in turn breathe in the carbon dioxide and release the oxygen we need to maintain life. It’s such a profound example of wholeheartedness, healthy giving and taking in. It offers us moment by moment awareness of how important it is to be mindful. Mindful that what we give in every situation and what we take in every situation matters and should be life-giving. I guess that’s why I love doing breath exercises. I tend to practice them most when my mind is going sixty and my heart is tending to race. The calmness that follows is a reminder of what it means to live wholeheartedly. I think of someone who laughs wholeheartedly and is not self conscious. I think living this way takes bravery. 7 Reply Mica5 months agoMicaTo let my heart feel fully all of life from sorrow to joy 5 Reply Ed Schulte5 months agoEd SchulteIt is an expression, it points to living the “Triplicity” , It symbol is the equal side triangle the ancients knew ….”Wisdom, Love, Power”, or if one prefers … ….”Total Wisdom, Logos, Holy Spirit” …….it is the essence of what it means to be a TRUE Human Be-ing……as it is said here in ‘The Teaching of the Symbol of Life’ “Every human being must be conscious of what it is representing. if it manages to fulfill its mission as a representative of God in its own enviro...It is an expression, it points to living the “Triplicity” , It symbol is the equal side triangle the ancients knew ….”Wisdom, Love, Power”, or if one prefers … ….”Total Wisdom, Logos, Holy Spirit” …….it is the essence of what it means to be a TRUE Human Be-ing……as it is said here in ‘The Teaching of the Symbol of Life’ “Every human being must be conscious of what it is representing. if it manages to fulfill its mission as a representative of God in its own environment then it is TRULY connected with God and is receiving powers, rays of light and virtues and can share these with others. If I think of myself in that context, I think of living wholeheartedly for my family. 7 Reply 1 2 Next » My Private Gratitude Journal Write an entry in your private gratefulness journal Get Started This site is brought to you by A Network for Grateful Living, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
