      Whether we know it or not, people exist simultaneously on multiple levels of consciousness (i.e.”reality”) – physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and probably a few others we don’t even have access to, yet) Rocks and stuff have a level of consciousness (objects are symbolic), plants. have a level of consciousness, animals occupy. yet, another. It is something that is conscious. The one who is aware of and that of which he is aware of appear in awareness isn‘t it ? So to me , in reality there is no question of spiritual or not spiritual. But on a practical level the concept of discriminating between spiritual and not spiritual will lead us beyond this same concept and give us the experience of this oneness.. but this is only my poor few as a beginner on the spiritual „path“ 🙏

    My first thought: “Far too many links and that’s why all those tabs are open waiting for me to read them.” More seriously, with the web at my fingertips if I wonder about something I can learn a bit about it in the moment. What would have been a trip to the basement in my parents’ house to look in the Encyclopedia Britannica when I was a kid becomes a serendipitous path of new facts, ideas, and voices.

    I would love, for a very long time, to see a raven in real life. They exist in the Netherlands, but unfortunately my eyes haven’t had the pleasure yet. Now I think that I can of course put more effort into that. Find out and see if they are reported on a bird watching website.

      I hope you get to see one soon! I feel the same about the Painted Bunting. I know they’re around; I just haven’t had the fortune to see one myself!

        wow, that little birdie should represent LGBT, lol so colorful and beautiful:) Apparently they migrate and arrive to central/south Florida in early October, I’m gonna keep a look out for this beauty:)

    I’m always intrigued by side trails not on a map when I’m hiking. There are so many, and it’s a thrill to not know exactly where I’m going (but I track my hikes so I can find my way home).

    I referred to my curiosity the other day in reference to my doubt. My curiosity is rooted in a lack of complacency. It triggers a sense of wonder. Wonder can be magical. It fosters a desire to draw new maps. Much is said about life long learning, all good. I of course concur. The data, the knowledge gained, is useful, invigorating perhaps even life altering. Wonder is the fuel that ignites me. Yes, curiosity invites me to wonder. And occasionally seek to grasp dreams and beckon them into reality...

    My dreams. I was too fearful to follow them in the past. And I was raised in a way that you live your life like "this" and get a job with benefits and work for a company until it's time to retire.... yadda yadda yadda. I know now that there is life outside of a timeclock, despite the fact that I still punch one 5 days a week (6 last week!). The knowledge has led me to get in tune with my inner Self, and that's why I'm in a Yoga Teacher Training so I can eventually teach and share my love of all ...

    Well, that would depend on what it is that I am curious about. With some things I’m curious about, it’s enough to just be curious and learn a bit more about something and then let it go. Other times, my curiosity has led me into a whole new world that changed my life in profound ways.
