I always ask people to smile. When they are angry or sad or in a tough situation. I feel like smiling can solve a lot of problem and practically make the whole world go round 0 Reply Elaine1 year agoElaineAuthenticity. Integrity. Meaning. We thought of all the desirable values and things we should stand for and finally came to the realisation that LOVE encompasses all. You cannot have truth, justice, equality, compassion etc without love. Truly “the greatest of all these is love”, it conquers all and we are nothing without love. If we love, the rest follows. I cannot force people to love but I can model love and encourage. 6 Reply Don Jones1 year agoDon JonesFreedom from suffering. 5 Reply Mike1 year agoMikeIntegrity–being whole and undivided and, therefore, being true in every situation. This is clearly an aspirational value 9 Reply Linda1 year agoLindaFair treatment of all living beings. 6 Reply Hot Sauce1 year agoHot SauceI stand for love. Love of God, love of neighbor (including and especially those we may not get along with and those who are different from us), and love of self. 8 Reply Mica1 year agoMicaI’ve wondered that myself. I can’t stand for everything. I was leaning toward climate change and was writing a letter to the editor, but my son questioned the book quote I was using, and I saw the foolishness of my letter. Racial and social justice, certainly, but what can I do? I have a delightful ‘Black Lives Matter’ t-shirt that I love to wear, but surely I could be doing more. 5 Reply Carol1 year agoCarolI stand for willingness. I say the Third Step Prayer each morning because I believe my job is willingness. God's job is transformation. All is grace and I want to commit myself to let it flow.: "God I offer myself to Thee to build with me and do with me what you will. Relieve me of the bondage of self that I might better do Thy will. Take away my difficulties that victory over them may bear wisdom to those I would help of your power, your love and your way of life. May I do thy will always....I stand for willingness. Some difficulties cannot be removed and I pray for the grace to accept them and learn from them.
