I saw most of it, though some were clouded. Blurry. I knew what everything sounded like. Felt like. And it always ended the same. I was able to determine my age because I could see the house where we lived. By my description, family members told me where it was and how old I was when we lived there. It wasn't until many years later, I finally understood that it wasn't a dream. Lots of years have gone by since. Even though I wish I could say that discover...For years I thought it was a dream. It wasn’t until many years later, I finally understood that it wasn’t a dream. Lots of years have gone by since. Even though I wish I could say that discovery hasn’t impacted my life, I am fortunate that I can now sit with myself, learning to breathe through anxiety and see the sunshine’s strong, brilliant rays peeking through those oppressive clouds. And then my heart explodes into great joy, and I am grateful for Life. I choose to honor this Gift of Life. Yours and mine. Amen. And even if I did take the time, I wouldn’t list them, because I’m Living them, every day 4 Reply Anneclaire1 year agoAnneclaireWhen I was a child, in a room on the second floor of our home in Port Credit, at a time when I was deeply unhappy, emotionally in pain, excluded and alone, I could see the stars shining through my window at night and was reassured.
