Washing the kitchen floor, that has not been washed for weeks now. Creating a space of harmony and beauty: weeding the swallow-wort in the garden, cleaning the outdoor patio glass table. Sharing what delights me: the movie “Little White Lie.” I told Donna about it, and she delighted in it too. Creating delight and beauty. My first Zoom session with the other women in the “anti-racism” discussion group: my honesty and openness reactions. My thoughts- insightful and fresh, I hope! Creating a space of openness and delight. That’s what I am hoping. Today: starting planting the garden. Making “breathing room” in the kitchen a bit more. Being friendly and open with the housemates. Making straightforward requests for what I need, and for what will create beauty and harmony in the house. Having fun, humorous interactions with people. Accepting and delighting in them. Perhaps this can allow people to think about the complexity of such values. 3 Reply kds6181 year agokds618Today was beautiful and sunny day. Even if it is only for a fleeting moment… visualise: like a young child jumping on a trampoline in the back yard… bouncing as high as possible to get a glimpse over the fence… try and see what is. 3 Reply Dusty Su1 year agoDusty SuI think I am going to rephrase this question and ask myself with each chance for an encounter with another soul, “What could I share with or teach others at this moment?” 2 Reply Ose1 year agoOseToday was a beautiful day. My neighbor offered me to picking some plums from the trees in the garden, and some blackberries, then adding some Plum compote from the freezer which I had prepared last autumn and hepp- a delicious vegan sheet cake was made for my dear friends as a little thank you for their heartfelt friendship especially during these days. We sat together and enjoyed the cake, which was tasting particularly well this time, My generous neighbor received the last pieces and may be, he will find pleasure in vegan food as being especially healthy, and it feels so good in the tummy. He always loves to live on what his garden is offering during the seasons. Being home again, I feel humbled and deeply grateful for these spontaneous meetings and the loving friendship offered. Sending out love and friendship to all of you, dear friends, and wish you a beautiful day. Read More4 Reply Cathy1 year agoCathyI love eating the vegan way of life, also, dear Ose. If I put all other reasons aside, I would still try to always eat WFPB simply because of the way my body feels after a meal. I like your post, your friend is blessed to have you as a neighbor ❤️ 2 Reply Cody1 year agoCodyI can share the fruitful wanderings of my leisure, like Caroline Shaw’s chamber music (check out “Orange” by the Attica Quartet. It’s beautiful) or sublime street art I encounter, or the heretofore unknown to me writings of Brother David. 3 Reply Pollyanna Gladwell1 year agoPollyanna GladwellThank you, Cody, for the introduction to the music of Caroline Shaw. Best to keep them seperate I agree. My dad is horrible for believing conspiracies. 2 Reply Melissa1 year agoMelissaI could share peace, hope, love, faith, kindness. 2 Reply Debra1 year agoDebraI would wish and desire to share my laughter, snort and all. We could all use the healing power of uncontrollable laughter. So freeing. So in the moment. So alive. 7 Reply Carla1 year agoCarlaHappy Birthday Brother David. May God continue to Bless you abundantly! I’m participating in a Soul Collage class this afternoon. I can share my current experiences with them: walking through the emotional trauma of the aftermath of the death of George Floyd & the carnage / destruction in my neighborhood. 3 Reply Zenith1 year agoZenithDiscipline and music. I play piano and that takes discipline. But life in general requires discipline, and that is something I notice most people don’t have. I have often thought that if I could bottle up discipline and sell it I would be a millionaire. I am presently learning to discipline my thoughts and emotions. It is arduous work. 4 Reply Trish1 year agoTrishLet me know when you bottle it, Zenith. I’d like an entire case. 2 Reply Michele1 year agoMicheleToday is National Different Colored Eyes Day – it is called heterochromia.
