I need to make sure that my eyes are fresh and take in each and every moment and detail of the day. 1 Reply Malag4 months agoMalagEverything really. Starting with this hand that holds the phone. I see lots of wrinkles and creases and the complexity of how it can move in so many ways. The opposable thumbs in particular are amazing. 3 Reply Blossom4 months agoBlossomlife 2 Reply mam_gigi4 months agomam_gigiI could look at my home with fresh eyes. I could try to appreciate it and spend time with it instead of rushing to work or other things. I could look at its details, and show appreciation through taking better care of it. 4 Reply Layla4 months agoLaylaMy perception of reality and time. I think without exception, every assumption I had made about these issues was incorrect. Just goes to show the importance of admitting “I don’t know” and going into issues with fresh eyes. 4 Reply Dani4 months agoDaniThis popped up recently for me. Living in a 2 bedroom apartment with two young children and a husband means that we feel cramped. A LOT. I sit on Zillow and wistfully dream of single homes with nice backyards and playrooms. But my apartment is comfortable. It is cramped because we have been blessed to purchase what we need and to have family and friends that give gifts to our children. It's small nature means that I always know where everyone is and can instantly get to a crying baby. I always ...This popped up recently for me. But my apartment is comfortable. It is cramped because we have been blessed to purchase what we need and to have family and friends that give gifts to our children. It’s small nature means that I always know where everyone is and can instantly get to a crying baby. I always have eyes on the people I love and that gives me great comfort. In time my children will grow and so will our needs. But we are tucked in exactly where we need to be right now. Look at it with a sense of a new beginning. I wasn’t happy with my old job so this will be an opportunity to start fresh and feel the sense of accomplishment that I haven’t felt in quite awhile 8 Reply pkr4 months agopkrI can look at today with fresh eyes. I can be open to the new, the brand new day, new experiences, a new attitude. Take it all in. I am grateful for this beautiful new day full of possibility. 🙏 4 Reply Melissa4 months agoMelissaOn my walk a child started a nature sculpture on an oak tree branch that is armlength height. So many people have added to the art with feathers, rocks, sticks, botany. It brings so much joy to all who walk by and adds connection and smiles too so many. It gives me fresh eyes that we are community all together. We are not alone. 5 Reply sparrow4 months agosparrow♥ 3 Reply Elle4 months agoElleMy fears about discussing important issues with those I have to get information from, to make decisions for my life. Appreciating the earth and trying to consume less, have less, and pass on more. “Lightening up,” both literally and figuratively, requires fresh eyes, not the eyes I had when I accumulated. As I do this I am finding treasures that have melted invisibly into the woodwork, and i can appreciate them again, so that is a delight. Beside me here, are my mother’s pinking sheers and scissors, that I am at last packing up to send away to be sharpened. My eyes are also being sharpened. The best I can do is try to see things from someone else’s perspective. Asking for their view on something and really listening to what they’re saying. 6 Reply sunnypatti4 months agosunnypattiThis new day 🙂 4 Reply Patricia4 months agoPatriciai just want to look at things with grateful eyes today. 4 Reply Marnie Jackson4 months agoMarnie JacksonMy relationship with my new head of department.
