I will be kind and loving. I will love God with all my heart, soul, mind and strength and love my neighbor as myself. This is how I will live the day with reverence and end the day with reverence. 5 Reply sunnypatti10 months agosunnypattiHard to think of the end of the day when the day has just begun! I think I live my life well, with lots of gratitude and reverence, so I’m not planning to do anything differently. If something arises that entices me to do something different, then I will. One moment at a time… 5 Reply EJP10 months agoEJPFree my heart from hatred. Free my mind from worries. Live simply. Give more. Expect less and enjoy every moment. 5 Reply ch10 months agochRemembering the Creator when I see beauty today 4 Reply Lee Anne10 months agoLee AnneI can give praise for everything: good, not-so-good, joy, and sorrow that unfolds. It is offering up a constant hosanna for all that happens and that is reverence, worship to me. Who has made that decision and why? Personally, I am at peace with how I will live my day today, with reverence and gratefulness, for the privilege of being here and alive to experience it. 10 Reply Mica10 months agoMicaGo, Kevin! Yes indeed. I’m busy preparing for a presentation next week, so I’d like to have greater Something for doing this, and reverence is a fine Something to seek. 2 Reply Holly in Ohio10 months agoHolly in OhioCould it be you are reading the questions more personally than they are designed? I look at them more as teases for enrichment, and some speak to me, and some do not, but will speak to someone else.. Anyone who knows you, knows you already have deep appreciation for your days, but then, you have been practicing, really, for a lifetime! Sometimes I imagine that these questions come from someone’s own practice, and what they are, or at one time were, asking themselves. Whether it is true or not, it is the kind of thing I might do if I didn’t have the opportunity of someone asking me a question each day. Thank you for your comment. It definitely woke me to thinking more deeply about how I approach my days, and if I ever let myself just be satisfied! And yet another question, what is this practice I am doing? 🙂 Thank you, Kevin Read More4 Reply Kevin10 months agoKevinYou know, Holly, that is entirely possible. I like the way you have framed your comments to me. I will give that some thought. But for sure my life and my days could always use more tweaking and improvements. Some of it, frankly, is whether or not I have a desire to do so! But, with the above said, I do sometimes think that some of the questions posed to us are, how shall I say, “broad brush,“ questions designed for a wide general audience even as they appear very personal in nature. ...You know, Holly, that is entirely possible. But, with the above said, I do sometimes think that some of the questions posed to us are, how shall I say, “broad brush,“ questions designed for a wide general audience even as they appear very personal in nature. And it’s here where I sometimes sense that assumptions are made and even judgments are made in the course of crafting a daily question. So when I sense these types of questions, I do tend to take them personally and respond and kind. Thank you, Holly, for your perspective. (I just had an eye injection an hour ago so I am functioning with just one eye for the moment so please pardon any typos!)
