Larissa7 months agoLarissaBy paying attention to the small things others do for us during our day, that normally would go unnoticed. I take notes about everything I noticed someone being kind and generous during my day. It makes a huge difference! 0 Reply Michele7 months agoMicheleI didn’t need to do anything different to end my day with greater reverence for it. I enjoyed the day with my son and daughter and was grateful for the family time together. 1 Reply Chung van Gog7 months agoChung van GogTo put more love in small actions. 3 Reply Kristina7 months agoKristinaJournal my gratitudes for the blessings in my life. Let go of any unwanted negative feelings from the day. 2 Reply Akia7 months agoAkiaI can pause, be grateful for the moment of time in this life and just be……just be in the quiet, still peaceful moment.. 2 Reply Elaine7 months agoElaineDrop into a heart space. Read a poem, listen to music. Be quiet. 3 Reply Dusty Su7 months agoDusty SuSavour it more… 3 Reply Don Jones7 months agoDon JonesExercise greater precision… meaning, focusing on an openness rather than approaching the day within a specific context. If I show up as a hammer, everything will look like a nail. If I show up with an emptiness, there is immense space for whatever shows up. Dropping all the pretexts does, however take some attention and care. 5 Reply Blossom7 months agoBlossomStay in this precious moment. 🧚♀️ 4 Reply dcdeb7 months agodcdebto keep goin’. Don’t stop. 2 Reply Anna7 months agoAnnaMy day is over, I’m resting … thankful that a pain in my right eye has passed. Grateful for having had good relationships with many people. What did I do, unlike other days? Maybe I feed my soul with caresses, knowing that I need it, knowing that I can go on even if there is something I have to change. Knowing that everything will pass, but love lasts forever. 5 Reply 7 months agoI can have a greater appreciation for each day as it is and for each person I come in contact. I can release the negative thoughts that come into my mind. 2 Reply Lauryn7 months agoLaurynI can not let my frustrations get the better of me. I can try to understand my partner’s point of view . I can focus at work and have a productive day. I can try not to let the little things get to me. I can find small ways to show my partner affection. 2 Reply Chester7 months agoChesterI can take a second longer to pause at the end of the day to express gratitude and appreciation for a day well lived. Indeed our lives are the sum of our days. 4 Reply Mica7 months agoMicabe productive? 3 Reply amacord7 months agoamacordI will try to slow down the hectic pace and monkey mind that saps my energy and gives my inner critic a lot of power. I am going to expand my awareness of Being and not doing….. And focusing more on the good things in my life. 5 Reply Cintia7 months agoCintiaThis morning I looked at the sky, there were no clouds, completely blue. So deep. I immersed myself in the feeling of peace. I felt deep gratitude to be alive, gratitude for the day and so many possibilities to be grateful. 6 Reply Anna7 months agoAnnaCintia, if you looked at a blue sky like that in your photo on the Lounge, you are right to feel at peace. It seems a Heaven. 1 Reply Mica7 months agoMicaCintia, I recently read that the blue sky, with no clouds, is like our true self.☁️ 2 Reply Holly in Ohio7 months agoHolly in OhioI keep meaning to try Dusty Su's evening ritual, and I keep forgetting to do it! Today i will leave myself a note as a reminder. Yesterday she wrote: "Every night before I sleep I ask myself, what are the three things that were highlights from my day that make me thankful. Then I take my favorite one and break it down. Do this for 21 days, and it teaches you to search the day automatically, as you are living it, for the good, or the highlights. Then through the last question, to find meaning...I keep meaning to try Dusty Su’s evening ritual, and I keep forgetting to do it! Today i will leave myself a note as a reminder. I liked the practical suggestion, especially looking more intently at one particular highlight as a way to feel the gratitude and love. I haven’t started my 21 day habit yet. I too think I need a note to self. Thanks! 2 Reply Nelson7 months agoNelsonSetting an intention before every task. I’ve noticed I can go on autopilot with work, and thus, it’s easy to not be present. 5 Reply Mary Pat7 months agoMary PatMaybe realizing that this day will not be repeated, and what I do this day will last forevermore. Maybe be aware as I walk through this day that my encounters with others today is very special, and won’t happen exactly the same again. Make the most of it. Create memories for yourself and others. And when I am finished with this day, be thankful for the events, the people I was with, and the exchanges that happened with others. 8 Reply Cintia7 months agoCintiaLovely thoughts Mary Pat! 3 Reply Holly in Ohio7 months agoHolly in OhioPerfect, Mary Pat. Lovely thoughts. I still don’t see many people these days but I will be helping a friend with something in an hour, and what you said is exactly what I would like my attitude to be. thank you so much! 🌺 4 Reply 1 2 Next » My Private Gratitude Journal Write an entry in your private gratefulness journal Get Started This site is brought to you by A Network for Grateful Living, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
