I can hear a dog happily greeting a person or being in it’s midst … People are walking by on the sideway, enjoying the moment and day… 2 Reply Pam3 months agoPamI was gazing out at our bird feeders yesterday and saw a brown creeper for the first time . So exciting ! My mom was up for the weekend and we got sling ❤️ 2 Reply Tak0yakii3 months agoTak0yakiiThe sun has almost set for the day, the birds are singing as they about to engage in their nighttime routine. Both my virtual and physical candle are flickering as I listening to some ambient music. I smell vanilla bean from the candle and it soothes my aches and pains in my body. Every part of this moment is beautiful. It’s a lovely way to end a busy working day. 2 Reply Mahua Seth3 months agoMahua SethI woke up this beautiful morning to see falling leaves from a tree in front of my house …. gently wafting down, settling down . And in an hour’s time there was a little child who was shrieking in delight and trying to catch the falling leaves. It reminded me to hold on to the childlike joys that the world offers. 3 Reply ADP3 months agoADPMy present moment beauty was the trees in my backyard. It helped me tremendously the past two days. It has brought me peace and harmony during this stressful time in my life. Slowing down a little bit always helps heal your soul from stressors in your life. 2 Reply Mary Pat3 months agoMary PatI was so busy this morning I had no time to write...so here I am, a little after 3:00 in the afternoon and reading the question....oh! I’m blessed. 3 Reply Don Jones3 months agoDon JonesWhere I’m coming from is upstream of life. It is the source of life, yes, but it is not alive. From Here I look out upon a sunrise over there or the daffodil there and, my God, I discover life. 3 Reply Elaine3 months agoElaineLate morning and I’m on a 100 minute ferry trip crossing the Salish Sea-the sun is shining, the sea is sparkling, the oceanside lodge prepares to welcome us . I am very privileged, I am deeply grateful, and I will enjoy our little holiday to the full. All the while holding beleaguered, courageous Ukraine in my heart. 2 Reply Carol3 months agoCarolI put a tablecloth on my dining room table this morning. The design is filled with yellow daisies and blue flowers I cannot name. It is a reminder to pray for Ukraine every time I pass by that table and I do that several times a day. Ukraine’s colors and state flower, the daisy. 2 Reply pkr3 months agopkrPresently, I am listening to classical music as I look at this site & others. The selection of music is so beautiful, poetic, touching, soothing, absolutely delightful. Listening to music has been my “go to” lately, as I weather storms, sadness, grief, uncertainty, aloneness, despair over the world. Music does help, soothes my wounds somewhat. Takes my mind away from all the “stuff”. 🙏❤️🙏 6 Reply Lauryn3 months agoLaurynAbsolutely! 2 Reply Emmaleah3 months agoEmmaleahA beautiful sunrise on a warm, tropical morning. My son tinkering on the piano. Thanks for reminding me to take note of these things and remember that I am blessed. 4 Reply amacord3 months agoamacordbeautiful music on the radio..helps lift my mood. The situation in Ukraine is deeply tragic but the massive support for the beleaguered people of Ukraine is encouraging and beautiful. I pray for the beauty of peace…a lasting peace. 5 Reply Linda3 months agoLindaMy husband is puttering in the background. It is a quiet, overcast morning, soon to be sunny. I will see a dear friend this morning. All is well. 4 Reply MemoPC3 months agoMemoPCEven when visible beauty is not apparent as in storm or war. I can be encouraged by inner beauty. Inner peace which is justice and mercy itself. The resolve of the people in Ukraine, the prayers and assistance of others. The beauty in the human spirit pulling together this gives me hope. 5 Reply Yram3 months agoYramThe beauty of each response here helps lift my soul and appreciate a bit better. The flags are whipping straight out on their poles. The wind will help the bud casings reveal the underlying beauty each tree has. 3 Reply Charlie T3 months agoCharlie TLike most of you, waking up in darkness and silence. Quietly petting the cats and getting my morning cup of coffee. Laying on the floor and stretching and breathing while the sun rises, bringing light. Vowing to notice beauty and appreciate the small things that make this life worth living. 8 Reply Laura3 months agoLauraA quiet morning and a cup of tea … not beautiful in the traditional sense but deeply cherished. 6 Reply Black Cat Soiree3 months agoBlack Cat SoireeThe meows of my cats demanding their breakfast since it reminds me that they are still healthy enough to eat. The brisk winds against my windowpanes seem to signify the winds of change. It will by up to me to determine what the changes will be. 5 Reply Michele3 months agoMicheleI found beauty in today’s Word for the Day Photo. It speaks truth. 4 Reply devy3 months agodevyAt this moment I hear freezing rain outside my window. It will change to rain later on as the temperatures climb to 15 degrees Celsius. More snow will melt. This helps me because I realize that spring will be upon us and with it new life and rebirth. This reminds me of my life, the difficult times I’ve experienced am experiencing and that this too shall pass. Sunnier days will come and with it my own rebirth. 8 Reply 1 2 Next » My Private Gratitude Journal Write an entry in your private gratefulness journal Get Started This site is brought to you by A Network for Grateful Living, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
