    I am awakened to serve usually by the joy it can bring to others. I like to see people’s faces light up. I like to help people achieve goals they have wanted to achieve, but did not necessarily think they could do on their own.

    What awakens me to serve? When I realize how blessed I am & how grateful I am for all my blessings, I feel the call to serve. As a member of the human race it is my duty to help when & where I can. It is the right thing to do. 🙏

    The desire to be an instrument of evolution–both personal evolution and universal evolution. Our species in particular is at a crucial evolutionary point. I pray we take the challenge from “me to WE.”

    The need in humanity drives me to serve. There is just so much need, sometimes it can be overwhelming. I often wonder how people like Jesus and Mother Theresa continued to serve day-in and day-out.
