Its enormous capability to restore health, recovering from physical trauma, infections as well as deep seated illnesses. It´s possible mirroring what needs to be looked at in order to heal. Its impermanence. All leaves me in awe and gratefulness. Thank you 🙏❤️🙏

The complexity of the mind and body is amazing. Life’s challenge is to try to take care of it the best you can!
Today I took a 3 mile hike along Narragansett Bay and the seals were out on the rocks. Every living creature is a wonder!

I am in awe of the miracle the body is. Trillions of cells organized into dozens of systems working to keep me alive and functioning. I am grateful for every day that I wake up.

Appreciation for all it can do. I’m still sick with the flu but recovering so I’m especially appreciative of my body’s immune system and all it’s doing to bring me out of this. When my daughters were little and got sick I described the immune system to them as a lot of brave little tiny white elephants charging to push the sickness out, and the fevers came from how hard they were working. Thanks, little elephants!

I feel a sense of gratitude for all my relatives that came before me, who had strong bodies and minds and passed them on to me. I am 69 today and grateful for the good health that I have been blessed with.

Love and gratitude. It’s taken 56 years. 3 kids. An active dog. And a chronically ill husband. I couldn’t love and care for all these people and properly care for myself if I didn’t have this utmost respect for the body God gave me. I used to get teased as a kid for being scrawny. Little did I know the power I held then and now. And of course, I also understand this confidence and strength is a gift. One that will fade or be lost at some point. So today I’m going to walk to the beach and thank God with every step for the power I hold in this body.

What arises in me when I take in the wonder of my living body?
Over the years I have made unreasonable demands on my physical body and often grew angry with it if it failed me. I am amazed at how well my physical body still functions after what I now realize was not the greatest of care. But when I ponder today’s question and today’s quote, I find myself asking: What is the definition of a “living body?” and I come to the realization that my “living body” is not just my physical body. It’s my thoughts, my feelings, my actions.

In today’s quote, Deepak Chopra says, “If you restore balance in your own self, you will be contributing immensely to the healing of the world.”

To“take in the wonder of my own living body,” the importance and need to nurture the relationship between my physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies arises. If my “living body” is out of balance, how can I contribute to my own well-being let alone the well-being and healing of the world?

Needless to say, today’s quote and question have left me wonder-ing and with the need to ponder!

For me in my current situation, it is realizing that through a combination of doctor care, medicine, red light therapy, Reiki, prayer, and rest that the body will heal and the current situation is only temporary. Our bodies are smart and will heal when given the proper encouragement and treatment.

When I think about my body, I’m usually
struck by the amazing resilience and
    the delicate vulnerability.
Also, the electrical pulse that has been
passed down through the eons, to
    reside here in this heart.
Just like every living thing, we all share this
electricity. This spark. These same atoms.
As the song goes, we are stardust.

As Yram said…”respect, awe, gratitude responsibility and appreciation” ..those words describe how I feel exactly. With responsibility comes CARE…a grat reminder to me to be more aware- less careless with how I treat my body and what I put into it. It is not New Years yet…but it is a time for change…So much I need to change. Once again…I am so greateful for this wonderful place to gather and for all of you. Blessings my friends.

      Ah yes, change. Remember, change
is many little things. I find it’s best to just
start with one small thing, and go
from there. I tend to get overwhelmed
easily, so this strategy has worked for me.
And then don’t forget to celebrate that
      success. 😁
As Carol likes to say “it starts with
      willingness”.

When I wonder this body is still living, my soul is filled with thankful to God because he always looks after and protect me. I remember the times I was in motorcycle accidents in my country. The traffic is always busy in such a crowded city. I am still here, studying and improving for a new life in a new country. How grateful!

My heart beats, my blood flows, organs operate without me having to make any effort. I am a living being! What a blessing to be alive. My body isn’t quite the same as it was 25 years ago, but it’s healthy and allows me to move around this world the way I choose to.
