One basic thing that I am truly grateful for is a roof over my head, and the ability to keep a roof over my head. There are so many unhoused people in my city and at this point, I personally know people who are unhoused. I am grateful for a job that I actually love. I am an elementary school teacher, so my job is by no means easy. However, it brings me the greatest joy, outside of my two sons. I am grateful for parents who are super supportive to my siblings and my nieces and nephews, even though they have been divorced over a decade.

i was diagnosed with Covid for the first time tonight. A little nerved up but have had all my vaccines. May or may not be on website next few days . The CVS minute clinic nurse practitioner did not recommend plaxovid but I shall call my doctor tomorrow to see what she advises. I have asthma so it is a worry.

The house and as well the garden (right now in a beautiful flowering dress) where I may live, giving shelter, warmth and pleasure to all my being and to the ones who come visiting here; to have access to clean water and healthy food, even to get organically grown veg, is easy and reasonably affordable; the unconditional love of my sister and of my father, wh0 is almost 94 years old now; the heartfelt friendship of beloved friends, their honesty in heart, their compassionate being, their humor and joy shared with me and others whenever possible. It gives a feeling of shelter, nourishment and home all together. Deeply grateful for all these gifts.

I am grateful for my job, which offers me the way of living that I am living right now and in fact, that I do what I really love to do. I am grateful for my parents and their health, as well as my dog for his pure love and health. I am grateful for my health, my warm home, food and water. I am also grateful for my friends whom I trust and have been loyal to me many many years.

OMG (literally and figuratively), all of it! A home, more than enough food, water (almost) safe to drink, a loving husband, a sweet dog, friends, church, the ability to breathe and walk and function (pretty well), clothes galore, shoes and sneakers, a comfortable king-sized bed, digital devices like the one I’m using now that give me access to a world of information, entertainment, spiritual nourishment and more, mental functions intact at a ripe old age, the trees and flowers and bushes, and on and on. As I look around me I realize that the things I am grateful for are almost endless. Thank you, thank you.

There are a few friends that I am extremely thankful for, I wish I could hang out and spend more time with some of these people but I cherish the few and far between moments I get with them.

As I sit here in the crisp morning air,
in my little sun room, with my cats
goofing around, a cup of coffee just
finished. My lovely wife, who’s still
sound asleep. The quite and stillness all
    around me. Contemplating my day
and what I will do and pondering this
    question.
I am grateful for all of this and more.

Chocolate. Just chocolate please don’t add milk to mine! Got a free bar this morning the only ingredient is cocoa mass heck yes that’s all I need for a rush!

Also partially undeveloped parks. I think national and state parks and nature preservations like sanctuaries and refuges are absolutely simple but amazing.

Some little local town ones also seem to keep a bunch of nature in its natural state here enjoying trails all over!

I am really grateful for the life given to me freely from above. And for all my parents, siblings, friends and neighbors. I thank God for the love care and concern i receive from my family, especially from my dear dad.

I have a home providing shelter from seasonal elements, water, electricity, and food in the pantry and fridge. God’s Grace provides me with my needs, “give us this day our daily bread.” I am grateful for friends and family.

At the end of each day, I take stock on how I have done in different areas of my life. I am grateful for, friends and family around me and those distant. I am grateful for all the workings of my body and what keeps it working healthily. I am grateful I have faith and hope in a Higher Being, I call God.

I am truly grateful to have a home…where I am safe and comfortable. As a child I never had a true home…we lived in apartments and moved often. I remember in grade school- other children talking about home. They lived in a real house! I went to a birthday party once (yes once!) at one of my classmates home…Oh My!! I could not believe it! An upstairs and a downstairs- AND she had her own room!! My home, my husband and my animals (two cats and a dog) are what is most important in my life and what I am most greateful for. My home is in rural WV…on over 100 acres, we have a beautiful home …oh with an upstairs!! 🙂 There are flowers and trees, and above all it is ours and we are safe. We have all our own well..plenty of water…heat and cooling and food. Yes, we have it all. I am truly grateful …and grateful for all the folks here where I turn the first thing every morning. Thank you all!!
