I have my job and we have food, water, and all the necessities for life. We are truly grateful and blessed. Praise Jehovah God! 0 Reply Jennifer L. Wyatt1 year agoJennifer L. WyattI love simple pleasures. The morning cup of coffee, the stars twinkling in the sky, feeling warm and snuggly under the covers when I go to bed at night, the pleasurable feeling of getting involved in a good book. the sense of drifting away when I listen to Beethoven and Tchaikovsky. And most importantly, living life one day at a time. 1 Reply Tahsin Tabassum1 year agoTahsin Tabassumwater, food, sleep, house, clothes 1 Reply Kevin1 year agoKevinAs a serious hobbyist photographer, I adore sunrises and sunsets, and I have many, many indeed! Each one is unique, and each one carries a message for me which us uplifting, affirming and spiritual. If I have time, I’ll add a couple of sunrise/sunset images to the Lounge, shortly. (I wish this site allowed images in the Daily Question segment.) 1 Reply Malag1 year agoMalagLooking at the present moment I am grateful for being able to sit on this comfortable chair, to have light come in the window beside me, to hear bird sounds and wind, to smell wooded ash from yesterday’s fire, to taste the promise of a hearty breakfast, and to feel relatively safe and secure (notwithstanding the pandemic). 2 Reply Saurel1 year agoSaurelHugs! I truly miss them. 3 Reply GCharlotte1 year agoGCharlotteSome basic things I am truelly grateful: spring greens, garlic, semolina, brown rice, health, God, eldest brother, daughter, siblings, father, mother, dearest friend, shelter, grocery stores, income, medicine, practitioners, leaders, sanitation, petroleum, ovens stoves refrigeration & transportation water soap. Community faith. Family friendships. 3 Reply Hot Sauce1 year agoHot SauceOr what used to be “basic?” Well, I definitely look forward to interacting with humans face-to-face and being able to hug and shake hands again. I also probably won’t take traveling far from home for reasons other than emergency shopping for granted either. Having a regular routine that I’m used to is something I look forward to again. Sometimes, you don’t know what you’ve got till its gone. Hopefully, this pandemic will be finished by a year from now… 5 Reply SaVaLoS1 year agoSaVaLoSShelter. And to top it all off or just wrap this sad answer up (I am trying to change and want to pay rent but it isn’t as simple as wanting to) I have a woman living with me now whom he doesn’t know is here (he allowed her to stay but demanded rent from us and when she left he ceased demanding rent again from me). I hope this new job starts soon and I keep it for at least a year. Lean air! Today I’m grateful that a bad migraine is starting to pass. Having a pain free day is amazing. I’m grateful for all of the wonderful people who are helping others! The doctors, pharmacy workers, and people in the food industry to name just a few! It’s very humbling to see so many suffering during these dark times. I wish everyone good health and to be free from pain. 5 Reply Marlies Robitaille1 year agoMarlies RobitailleHi, like you, I am just now grateful that I was able to abort a migraine with my medication. Now I am able to enjoy a beautiful sunny day, my first home delivery of groceries and most of all the knowledge that as of now myself and all my loved ones are healthy and having all their basic needs are met.
