Hopefully not lost as I get older! 5 Reply Mike S1 year agoMike SI’m not sure if anything survives the loss through death except the love itself—of love of life, of others, things and experiences which leave energetic imprints in reality after we’ve gone. Our lives are held in others who remain and in the places, spaces and objects dearest to us. Love us never list since it is hardwired into the nature of all reality. 7 Reply Journey1 year agoJourneyLove is never lost,. It lives on long past the end of life. Kindness is never lost and benefits both the giver and receiver Understanding and compassion are never lost, for same reason above. Our experiences are never lost, they become beautiful memories or lessons to learn from. Happy Sunday everyone. 8 Reply Holly in Ohio1 year agoHolly in OhioHappy Sunday, Journey! I hope you had a lovely day. 2 Reply Michele1 year agoMichelebeautifully stated:) 4 Reply Roy Howard1 year agoRoy HowardGreat question. My first response is that everything is lost in death. Yet, the second response is the theological conviction that nothing is every lost. My teacher Roberta Bondi once said this is the power of the resurrection: that ultimately nothing is lost. I of course can’t know what that experience will be like, I only anticipate what is lost in death which is everything mortal. 5 Reply Antoinette1 year agoAntoinetteThis is not an easy question being that everything is constantly in a process of coming apart and coming back together again – impermanence. People can lose just about anything and everything including their memories etc.. There is no state of solid ground to cling to. Impermanence is a richness that Cannot be lost. 9 Reply Holly in Ohio1 year agoHolly in OhioMemories. Appreciation for the smell of peeling a tangerine. or standing in a pine forest. The feel of of the fur of a cat, the velvety nose of a horse, or the rough cold of a stone while hiking. They are what made me who I am and what I’ve done with myself. I look at even the bad times and experiences are positive and indicate how strong of a person I am to persevere. Remember we are not condemned by what happens to us. We control our own train of thought, how we react and what happens to us. 5 Reply k'Care-Reena1 year agok'Care-ReenaWHAT ARE RICHES IN YOUR LIFE THAT CANNOT BE LOST? My healing abilities has impacted my relationships, I am able to detect when someone is feeling off even if they are a PRO LIAR. I am able to sense the room and see/feel people’s aura. My self discovery has memories however I have been researching limited beliefs and where they come from and am learning so much information and I adore it. Memories are stored in brains, this is good because your mind has a “priority list” and becomes more comfortable with change and adventure Connecting to the Greater & Mother Nature is a relationship that I have and am responsible for. This is in my hands and I am able to CHOOSE how, what ,why ,when, where and what. If i decide to skip praying and meditation than I am most likely to feel frustrated and misunderstood. no matter your response, we are in CONTROL. The strength I have found journeying thru life and all of the blessings I’ve been given as I’ve learned to make better choices for every aspect of my life. The great love that I share with my fiance, my parents, my siblings, and some close friends. The connection I have with God and the Universe. My cup overflows 🙂 4 Reply Kevin1 year agoKevinAll the people in my life whom I have known, as friends, as loved ones, as young people under my care, and all those who have mentored me thus far in life. Our lives crossed, and I have been the better person for it. 7 Reply Holly in Ohio1 year agoHolly in OhioI love how they are never lost, because they are held in your heart. 🙂 3 Reply Howie Geib1 year agoHowie GeibThis feels like a trick question LOL. I have had relinquishment as a theme for decades. Things I thought were secure ended up being lost. Some were given up as redundant, and others revealed to be liabilities. My connection to my soul prevails and guides, and as I enter the elder stages of my life and I witness the gentle untethering my mom is experiencing I have to wonder how conscious that connection will be, and I suppose it doesn’t matter as she is very much still there spiritually whether...This feels like a trick question LOL. My connection to my soul prevails and guides, and as I enter the elder stages of my life and I witness the gentle untethering my mom is experiencing I have to wonder how conscious that connection will be, and I suppose it doesn’t matter as she is very much still there spiritually whether she taps into it or not. I can be shaken by life, and have been, many times. So the riches in heaven, the willingness to pray and ask for help, keeping the lens clean so the light can come in, and welcoming the silence as a means to listen, these activities promote that connection.
