I was aware of every bite I put in my mouth and dealt with it out of guilt but understanding the changes needed. I graciously was able to a healthy conversation with David. And all throughout is helping others but I’m not effective at helping anyone (nor even want to) when my layers aren’t running smoothly. When things are balanced I tend to be pretty positive and find delight in a lot … when one of the layers, especially a base layer is out of whack I tend to have difficulty finding delight in small things. The small things in life add delight to my life like being able to notice the lights of the tea lights warm the room. Feeling at home and relaxed adds delight to my life. My amazing boyfriend who shows me love in a way I never imagined was possible after trying so hard to find it and having 4 failed marriages. My ability to go to a great job that allows me to offer support to my family and provide us with a home. Going to the gym daily to strength my body. Putting up a Christmas tree for the first time since my brother died 10 years ago because it never felt the same without him. But the grandkids have given...My grandkids add delight to my life more than anything! My amazing boyfriend who shows me love in a way I never imagined was possible after trying so hard to find it and having 4 failed marriages. My ability to go to a great job that allows me to offer support to my family and provide us with a home. Going to the gym daily to strength my body. Putting up a Christmas tree for the first time since my brother died 10 years ago because it never felt the same without him. But the grandkids have given me a new outlook on the holiday and a reason to celebrate. Music that makes me want to dance and sing terribly but is a way to express how I feel at that moment. Life in general at this point of my journey adds delight and I am grateful to have made it through all the trials and tribulations to learn the lessons I have and make this time of my life wonderful!
