I need to focus on my work and once I leave, I need to focus on me; on what will bring me joy, improve my life, help me be the best I can because if I’m good, I have a greater capacity to shift my focus another day on someone else who may need it. 0 Reply Ose1 year agoOseI can move my intention and pray for people in need and so actualize and send out positive supportive energy To take the chance of being free to choose for joy and love. 2 Reply Javier Visionquest1 year agoJavier VisionquestI’m glad I waited until this evening to add my 2¢ to today’s Daily Question. ANYTHING or ANYONE! Family, Health, and Home. While those core aspects of my life go unattended I am nothing more than a ghost. I put my focus on this interpretation of the question. I have been taught that a focused mind is a mind of joy, and I got some sweet taste today… 3 Reply MQ1 year agoMQI will be giving my full attention to the characters of a comic book that I am currently overseeing and writing. I felt like I have no been putting as much love and care to them in a while. Even though they are fictional characters, they are a big part of my life right now. I am grateful for my imagination today for allowing me to be able to produce this. 5 Reply 1 year agoYour artistic skill is certainly a wonderful gift, dear MQ! May you always enjoy it! 1 Reply Colleen1 year agoColleenToday I give my wholehearted attention to my home and continue to make it the sanctuary I need to thrive. 5 Reply Elizabeth M Jones1 year agoElizabeth M JonesTo living with Jesus. 2 Reply Jay1 year agoJayToday I am giving my wholehearted attention to the present moment arising and I am basking in my awareness of the moment. I am taking short moments of awareness and going back to my senses, the hearing, the seeing, smelling and the feeling of my body touching the chair, the ground. I will be feeling immense gratitude for being given another 24 hours to be of benefit to my loved ones and everyone I meet today. Inspired by gratitude I will see every moment as a gift. 4 Reply Kat1 year agoKatI want to go through my day noticing everything that I am given, without my needing to earn it (Brother David’s definition of gratefulness is something you value that you did not have to earn, I think). There is so much! 6 Reply Mica1 year agoMicaMy mind will focus, as always, on many things. I’m grateful for this. 3 Reply Mark Piper1 year agoMark PiperI’m going to try and give complete attention to what I enjoy, makes me happy, and if possible what makes my coworkers happy. 4 Reply Tom1 year agoTomI think today I am going to lend my wholehearted attention to slowing my mind down a bit. I often identify so many tasks that I want done now that it overwhelms me and I end up wallowing in “I don’t know”, “this is too much” type thinking. Today I will direct my attention to only a few things and remind myself that life and all of its projects need to be embraced with a sense being in the process and not worrying about the what ifs of the future. 5 Reply Journey1 year agoJourneyToday I will give my attention to my thoughts. To watching them and seeing if they help or hurt me, move me forward to keep me behind. 4 Reply Debra1 year agoDebraMy wholehearted attention is being joyous in this new day and exuding that to everyone with love ❤️ today. 5 Reply Iwalkalone1 year agoIwalkaloneThere are many things I have to give my attention to everyday. Often when I multitask,I miss out on important details of each thing that I am spreading my attention too. Today I will give my wholehearted attention to each present moment. I will do my best to not get distracted. 4 Reply Carla1 year agoCarlaThis morning I will try & be very focused on an educational seminar on knee replacements. I’ve heard this talk before with knee #1 & squirm over the medical condescending jargon that is used. (Yes I speak up!) Later on I will transition to give rapt attention to an East African women’s group, as they voice their concerns of their children, “ captured” here in the USA by alcohol & drug addiction. 5 Reply Kincade1 year agoKincadeToday I will give my wholehearted attention to everyone I encounter with. I will give them the best version of me, no matter what is going on in my life. God blessed me to see another day, so be happy and rejoice in it. 6 Reply GCharlotte1 year agoGCharlotteI may give my whole hearted attention to the life I live and all that it is living in it today. I may serve God with a generous self and heart. 4 Reply Michele1 year agoMicheleRight now I’m giving my attention to a new k cup flavored coffee, caramel cappuccino with pumpkin spice creamer. sooo yummy:) I enjoy my coffee each morning while visiting this website. 5 Reply Mica1 year agoMicaEnjoy, Michele! Mine is only a Peets on-sale medium roast K-cup. We used to think there was the least caffeine in a Dark Roast, but that’s not true, so I’m enjoying being able to enjoy the lighter roasts, as I visit Gratefulness. 0 Reply Michele1 year agoMicheleMine was a Publix brand and was really good. First time buying the k cups as I use my own ground with the new single coffee maker. 1 Reply Kevin1 year agoKevinMy hope for today is to be fully present to each person whom I will interact with. That’s a gift that each new day brings. 5 Reply 1 2 Next » My Private Gratitude Journal Write an entry in your private gratefulness journal Get Started This site is brought to you by A Network for Grateful Living, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
