To whom have I expressed my love lately?

    Not that there’s anything wrong with it, yet, asking such personal information, which could certainly be considered a security concern, may not be appropriate for this open site? Especially in these times of populaces getting pandemiced; which will be the rest of the existence of humanity, in all probability. Thanx for all you do and don’t; have an excellent eve’ 🙂 reality

    Now-a-days, I have conference calls with my brother and my mom every day. We just have fun, tease each other and talk about food most of the time. But yesterday, I just said I love you both a lot without any reason(for my sudden gush of emotions). They laughed and I joined later and we all laughed. It felt so good to say so. Its strange actually but I did feel great.

    I must say this more often.

    Since I’ve been home, I’ve spent a lot of time with my cat, who loves to cuddle with me on my lap. I’ve been giving him lots of petting and kisses. He’s going to be very upset when we return to normal society again! He’s like, “What’s the big deal?! I don’t know what Covid 19 is, but I think I like it because I get lots of love and attention when the family is at home!”

    I have actually been really close to my family and friends during this time. Today both my mom and best friend called me and it was so great to hear from them and give and receive loving energy between us.

    My husband who has been in this isolation with his patience. The gorgeous oak trees that surround us, the garden that keeps me centered. The Quail fathers who guard their families from harm. Today 15 babies about two inches tall. Quail dads are amazing.

    I expressed my love to my niece and nephew who had birthdays this past week. I wrote them notes on Facebook. Calling them would have been better. I told a dear friend I love her in a phone call a week ago. I need to tell my husband I love him much more frequently and tell other family members and friends too. I am curious about why I don’t tell others more frequently that I love them. That’s a helpful reflection for me.

    My family, my dad who is in the hospital. But the biggest challenge right now is this PUPPY! I didn't ask for her, my husband brought her home and manages to be gone all the time so I have to train her. I've always taken in older dogs and, ok, I did say once that it would be nice to have a dog that wasn't traumatized by the time we got it. I have a goal, literally a picture in my head that my boss showed me once of his dog, which had "I LOVE YOU!" in her eyes. They were so sparkly and full of jo...

I want to see that in this puppy’s eyes and instead I have to keep telling her don’t nip, don’t bite, don’t chase the cat, no, no, no, no, DON’T POOP IN THE HOUSE! I do try to stop sometimes and say you’re a good dog, such a pretty dog, and I love you. I need to say it more.

    A direct “I love you,” often to my children is almost automatic. But I think, personally, sometimes miss the cues, the words, little acts, that express love to me. Likewise, I often forget, am not conscious of small acts, or things I say, that are expressing my love to another. Being aware and open, recognizing love when it is given, and when it is received in one’s by actions as well as words.

    My kitty, Mistletoes, and my beloved, Sissy, who I miss beyond words, and my spiritual community that I stay in contact through online services and Zoom calls. Nothing beats saying ‘I love you’ in person though.

        What’s your puppy’s name.? Tell your puppy over and over again how much you love him or her. Blow on his or her nose. Dogs typically nip at the air when you do this it excites them so much. Just be there.

    I have not been as expressive but my language is giving. I gave a cake to Mabel, made time for Sir Jun to Zoom on his birthday, checked on Kuya, and Onyoy/Lhen.

      My language is giving too! It’s beautiful that you give of your time and attention. I tend to give out of my finances in lieu of showing up. Bless you for showing up.

    Not as many folks as I ought, and while it may come off as perfunctory or proforma, certainly I’ve expressed love to my children and wife.

    My children, my friends, my husband, my sister, my dad, my sweet pets. Today and yesterday my puppy has been in pain and I fear it is Lyme disease. Will call the vet first thing when they open. I wish my love was all that was needed to soothe sometimes!

        Thank you so much Pilgrim. It is Lyme and he is now on medication. Poor little guy. Hoping to see some positive changes in the next couple of days.

    My landlady and her daughter: picked and gave them lily-of-the-valley flowers that are just blooming. The cat: my daily brushing and took her outside. My sister and my niece: had Facetime dinner with them, and my niece’s little toddler.
    I don’t say “I love you” very easily….
