Zaina1 year agoZainaLying in the garden all day, maybe building a tent, watching barbie movies, playing games like badminton, recording videos of myself, reading story books in the outdoors, general relaxing. 2 Reply Malag1 year agoMalagProbably one where I was distracted and entertained for the whole day. Back then I had no sense of being present. Except for a perfect moment. The perfect moment happened very occasionally usually on a holiday: life stood still in a nice place with me very relaxed. What I also didn’t realise back then that the perfectness of the moment was in fact me being very present to it. It took me a long time to build that into my evey day. 2 Reply Mike1 year agoMikeI don’t remember a perfect day. But, feeling as I do that my levels of self-absorption border on narcissism, I believe that if I had one, it would have been a day in which I was so taken up by some wonderful something or someone outside me that I effectively forgot myself the whole day through. 2 Reply Kristi1 year agoKristiA perfect day as a kid was a day of adventure and exploring with friends! 2 Reply Anna1 year agoAnnaSome of you told about not having big interactions with others and reading fairy tails. Me too, dreaming a world where I could feel a great peace, without pressure. Now it is quite different, though I am a bit introvert, I love relationships. I keep on loving dreams. 3 Reply Hot Sauce1 year agoHot SauceWhen I was younger, a perfect day was just a day when I laughed a lot with my friends and came home without a lot of schoolwork. If only I could go back to those days where my worries were small! 5 Reply Dusty Su1 year agoDusty SuAny of the following, but all included being in nature in some form, horse riding, sitting in a park, drawing, writing, reading, reflecting, walking on the beach for hours… people watching, undisturbed. Stimulated, rested, creative, connected to the world, but without big interactions with others. 3 Reply Tori1 year agoToriMy perfect day when I was younger was having my family over for get togethers to cook out and play with my cousins. We would gather at my grandmother’s house and she was would make the best food and I just remember being outside all day playing. Those were my best and fondest memories, days I wish I could go back to. 4 Reply sb1 year agosbI have lots of memories of short, perfect moments but a perfect day? Has to be roaming free on the marshes with my brother, cousins and, often, friends. The illusion of total freedom, being at one with nature, the smells (yes, I love the smell of marsh mud!), the sounds, the feel of the squishy mud, being active, independent, carefree….nothing to beat it! Thanks for stimulating me to relive it now! 4 Reply sunnypatti1 year agosunnypattiI dig the smell of pluff mud, too! 3 Reply Mike1 year agoMikeThe smell of pluff mud is something my wife and I have experienced only in the past decade, as we’ve taken our sailboat down the Intracoastal Waterway and through the Low Country. It may not be to everyone’s taste – one cannot confuse it, for instance, with roses – but it is a rich, fertile, wonderful smell. 2 Reply Melissa1 year agoMelissaBoogie boarding at Henry’s Beach with all my friends and brothers in the sun and sand and seaweed. With shells on the beach and pelicans in the air. 3 Reply Antoinette1 year agoAntoinetteSwimming at the beach in Hawaii where I grew up was always a perfect day! 3 Reply Emily1 year agoEmilyBeing outdoors and enjoying nature and being in the sun 3 Reply Don Jones1 year agoDon JonesThe surf, sun and sand. 3 Reply expati1 year agoexpatiLying in my homemade lean-to out in the backyard, shaded from the summer heat, where I read books from the library. 5 Reply Antoinette1 year agoAntoinetteHow lovely! 3 Reply Journey1 year agoJourneyAh, that sounds just perfect. 3 Reply Christine1 year agoChristineReading fairy tales. 4 Reply Journey1 year agoJourneyMine too as a child. 3 Reply Lauryn1 year agoLaurynWaking up on a summer morning, looking out my window and seeing the morning sun shining through the trees. As a child my mother put me in broadway and that was one of the bestest experience in my life. Acting on 28th St in NYC fro 8-12. My father would pick my sister and I up from school. Cook for us so we could eat before we would rehearsal, we always wanted MCDONALDS on the corner no matter how hard my father cooked. Actin off Broadway is my perfect day. However, I always looked forward to summer vacation with my family – I felt free and often at peace there by the lake. 5 Reply Michele1 year agoMicheleFamily gatherings and hanging with friends.
