Sometimes I have to dig deep to find it, especially when I’d rather wallow in the dirt. Yet, when I’m able to see the radiance in a troublesome situation (or person) there is great joy that accompanies it…..⭐️ 2 Reply Malag1 year agoMalagI find myself resisting this question. Yes I have gifts but I seem a bit blocked in wanting to express them more in the world. Interesting. 4 Reply reality1 year agorealityAs an evolutionary leader named reality, I’m particularly gifted at almost all things and participate in everyway as much as I can everyday. Writing, I am not sure how or where to best share and express these gifts. 4 Reply Linda1 year agoLindaI am able to make people feel comfortable almost immediately, even if I have just met them. It is a natural impulse in me to connect with others, which helps greatly in the community college where I work. We have a widely diverse student body, and I have learned to meet each new student where they are. I am not perfect at it, but I make sure that my heart is always in the right place. It has been immensely rewarding to me, and I hope to them as well. 9 Reply Cathy1 year agoCathyI love this. Thank you for writing it, Linda. It is something I’ve never thought enough about but so wonderful- the gift of helping people fit in and feel comfortable. Beautiful. 2 Reply Linda1 year agoLindaThank you, Cathy. 1 Reply Ana1 year agoAnaLinda, I can relate to how you described yourself, I’m very similar. I am a good listener and can bring people out of themselves when they need it most. I am hoping to do more volunteer work and perhaps create of group to connect people at our local library for folks who feel not connected around some theme of gratefulness. 10 Reply Pilgrim1 year agoPilgrimGreat ideas, Skeeter! Blessings on your endeavors. 3 Reply Michele1 year agoMicheleI am a loving, caring, romantic woman. I need to get out more and meet my soul mate. I cannot let the past make me give up on true love and being able to trust again. 9 Reply devy1 year agodevyI am a compassionate person who has concerns for people. I live away from people I know so I will make more effort to travel to see friends who are going through tough times. Over the internet or phone is not the same. 5 Reply 1 year agowho I am today is the flowering potential of the good that teachers and friends see in me and encourage me to manifest. only through their caring I can look at my life as something meaningful. I learn to carefully choose how to live, to speak, to interact. at the same time I feel ashamed how sloppy I still am. so one thing I am quite good at is to not give up on me. 6 Reply Antoinette1 year agoAntoinetteVerena, You are beautiful! Thank you for sharing. 1 Reply Katrina1 year agoKatrinaI have a gift for listening to others, letting them tell their story and helping them hear themselves. I have a gift to teaching and for storytelling, and try to weave the two together. I have a gift for planning, scheduling, resourcing. My hope and prayer this year is that I will find some place(s) where I can use some or all of these gifts in some volunteer efforts in my new community and retirement. 6 Reply Cathy1 year agoCathyAdministration, Exhortation, and Teaching seem to be my gifts. As a young child, I always wanted to be a teacher. As a young adult, I wanted to be a psychologist or counselor. I seem to have a knack of breaking their path into small steps and encouraging forward movement until they can keep roll...Administration, Exhortation, and Teaching seem to be my gifts. What I ended up as is an administrator and my career path has been pretty clear when I color inside those lines. I am drawn to people who struggle to get started because of the feelings of overwhelm. I seem to have a knack of breaking their path into small steps and encouraging forward movement until they can keep rolling on their own speed. Since I tend to live more of a hermit lifestyle these days, there is little opportunity to interact personally with others not online. To allow more full expression in the world I could broaden the scope of my own world. I could do this by attending an on-site class, joining an exercise class, or becoming part of a group that whose interests mesh with some of mine. Thank you for asking. 2 Reply Katrina1 year agoKatrinaGood thoughts and ideas. I hope you are able to flesh those out in concrete ways. 3 Reply Kevin1 year agoKevinFortunately for me, personally, I’m aware of the particular gifts that I experience as entrusted to me. I don’t need to list them. Rather, I am feeling that the time is nearing for me to make some “shifts” on just where and how I share some of my gifts and abilities in the coming months. I haven’t achieved full clarity on this yet and until I do, I’m keeping things close to my heart. 8 Reply sunnypatti1 year agosunnypattiI am gifted at being able to find peace in chaos and to remind others that peace is always there for us... we just have to choose it. This is what God intends for us. Thank you for spreading His joy. 2 Reply Antoinette1 year agoAntoinetteMy gift is my practice. The practice is to be preset to the gift of life in whatever form it comes in. The gift of the present moment and coming back to love in peace over and over again. My intention is to be fully aware and shine the light of love and truth whenever I can and wherever I am. I’m grateful to be alive and have this opportunity. 8 Reply My Private Gratitude Journal Write an entry in your private gratefulness journal Get Started This site is brought to you by A Network for Grateful Living, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
