Taking one day at a time, one step at a time to improve myself and help/encourage all those that I come into contact with.

I bought this plaque a while ago that I have in my room ” Choose Kindness” which sums it up for me however I like today’s thought for the day too since I am very much an outdoor gal and my favorite season is coming up- Spring!

The reason and purpose why we are bone is to become truth. My mission is to become one with truth.

Fascinating question. I need to create a new mission statement that fits my current (aging) situation. This has inspired me to do just that.
BTW, as a consultant I helped dozens (at least) of organizations and individuals create mission statements. They are useless unless accompanied by goals and objectives that are specific, achievable and measurable.
I used to do this at the beginning of each year, but fell out of the habit.

I’d add “and rooted in values.”

This will be something I revisit—it’s a work in progress. My life’s mission is to wake up from the illusion of duality and fully realize the Oneness of all consciousness. My endeavor to do this informs being loving, kind, compassionate, courageous, disciplined, and mindful—because there is only One here. I & I are One.

Avril this is much of how I feel and what I wrote .
I’ll attach a link to the meditation method that has the method of doing exactly this.

    Sow seeds of love.❤️
    Be kind, grateful, honest, authentic.
    Respect Mother Nature.
    Trust in a higher power.

Today’s word of the day sums it up very well for me too as others here have said. The world’s beauty is enough for me. To be an appreciator of the natural world is all I need.

To live a balanced life of healthy relationships, take care of my physical and spiritual body, have a commitment to love of family and friends, and service to others as I can.

It has always been to wholeheartedly be there for people, for kindred friends and kindred hearts who might need a listening ear, a hug or other support I might be able to offer in order to help making life a little lighter, less painful, less fearful, hopefully more joyful and peaceful for those in need. With all my heart accompanying them through possible difficult times, respecting their free will and integrity in friendship and with all Light and Love possible. Beyond, life is felt and appreciated as a creative moment, coming and going in a most beautiful moment. It is all inclusive.

My current mission statement, if I had one,
    would be something like:
Here at Charlie Co., I will strive to find
emotional balance, to be as kind as I can be,
to lead with gratitude, to keep in mind
that there are no “others”, and forgive myself
when I forget these things, and above all else,
    satisfaction is not guaranteed. 😁

Hello Charlie, the last line “satisfaction is not guaranteed.” made me chuckle. Reminds me of a sign I saw in John Quintana’s mechanics shop in the 80’s, The sign stated “This is not a Burger King. You don’t get it your way, You get it my way or you do not get it at all.”

I’m taking the Grateful Living course on becoming a gratefulness gathering facilitator and it is so inspiring and I am so grateful to be joining folks from all over the globe in this learning experience.

When I awoke this morning, I began praying for the many folks in my life who have asked for prayer and others who I know need prayer. This is a morning ritual for me. I pray for their well being and growth in wisdom and self awareness and send loving energy their way. I do the same for world leaders.

Then, I thought about last night’s ZOOM session with gratefulness.org and I was filled with awe. At 81 and with physical limitations and anxiety issues, I’ve wondered if I am up to the task of facilitating a gratefulness group but as I laid their praying this morning, ideas about how I would go about gathering folks, possibilities for where we would meet, etc., etc., started manifesting. The wall of fear and anxiety about such a undertaking began to crumble. Now I know that even if I’m shaking in my boots, I will proceed.

I’m willing. I’m willing to learn. I’m willing to be vulnerable. I’m even willing to fail.

Then I grabbed my phone to see what the Daily Question was and my first thought upon reading it was a little late to create a mission statement for my life! But, it is never too late, is it? Not if I embrace the NOW which is really all there is.

The session was “awesome “. I, too, an in a discernment stage. I am excited about gathering others and creating a grateful community. I am not sure if leading or co-leading is the best choice given my commitment to carepartening for/with my husband.
I can only see beautiful results coming out of the gatherings.
You will be so effective in directing a group. The Spirit will be your guide.

I have lived and still live a life out of doors. The many environments on any given day, the wonder and the freedom from being cooped up inside has always been appealing to me. Today’s quote by Toni Morrison could well be my mission statement, “At some point in life, the worlds beauty becomes enough.”
